Little more than a week later, I’ve gladly had the time to sit & reflect on my experience in “Fiddler on the Roof” at @mtwichita . 2 weeks of rehearsal & tech, 1 week of shows. These images somehow caught all of it. The joy, grief, stubbornness, laughter, doubt, faith, arguing with God, & letting go. Tevye runs the full gamut.

This was my 3rd time in Anatevka in a little over a year, & I keep learning the role has more to give. Our wondrous, visionary director, @robwschneider kept helping me peel back layers and find new discoveries, & a new company and a new room opened up somewhere I hadn’t looked before. @jmstevko rooted his movement not just in Robbins’s choreography, but in the story and history of the people whose lessons we honor. Laura Bergquist’s music direction was joyful, gorgeous and specific, with a 25 piece orchestra filled out by members of the local symphony. And of course, that’s also the writing. Stein, Bock, Harnick and Robbins built something that can hold any number of perspectives & still land.

Thank you to @bmarcum72 and the entire MTW staff, who were among the kindest and most professional people I’ve worked with, and to the audiences who met us all the way there.

The company, so many of them still in school, showed up with a commitment and professionalism that genuinely moved and inspired me. The theatre is in good hands. And I have to briefly mention the cast members who were my family on stage and off. @thepamelabob was a wonderful Golde, generous & alive opposite me every night. And my daughters, @hannahgraceervin as Tzeitel, @liannapaglia as Hodel, and @abigaylekate_ as Chava, made every one of those goodbyes cost something.

Tonight is our official opening of “Sweeney Todd” @tutshouston To say playing the role of Sweeney Todd is a dream come true, feels almost like an understatement. Add to that the amazing cast, artistic team, crew, theatre, 23 piece orchestra…well, my cup runneth over! Today, I am joyfully celebrating the anniversary of the greatest day of my life, the day Stacie Elizabeth Bono said, 'I do.' Throughout our second year of marriage, my love for her has grown stronger every day. It has been a truly miraculous year for both of us, filled with countless things to celebrate. The incredible adventures we embarked on and the career milestones we achieved have been even more delightful because I had the privilege of sharing them with her. Even during challenging moments, simply having @stacie_bono by my side is a cause for celebration. I eagerly look forward to our continued journey together. I would gladly follow you anywhere, my love.

A few moments from Les Misérables at @timberlakeplayhouse .

Hard to believe it had been more than a decade since I last carried his truncheon. Such a joy to revisit him after all the changes in the world and in my own life, continuing to peel back new layers my fourth time around.

Grateful to everyone who shared the stage, pit, booth, and backstage with me, with a special shout out to my extraordinary Jean Valjean, @john_michael_finley , and our wonderful director, @tommyranieri .

I’ve been spending the start of 2026 in circa 1908, working on Ragtime with @opera_montana in Bozeman at the gorgeous historic Ellen Theater. Coming back to Tateh at this point in my life feels deeper, sharper, and more necessary than ever. I’m grateful to be surrounded by an extraordinary cast and an artistic team led by @francescazambello , with choreography by @ericseanfogel and music direction by @michael.sakir, who treat this story with the heart and intelligence it demands. by @dannyrothman

Happy Birthday to the love of my life @stacie_bono .

Another trip around the sun with you, and somehow you just keep getting more beautiful, more joyful, more yourself. I’ve stopped trying to figure out how I got this lucky. I’m just grateful I did.

This birthday week in Portugal we’ve wandered ancient cities, floated through ocean grottos, found hidden beaches and vineyards. You’ve been my partner in adventure, my queen in palaces, and my calm in the depths of Quinta da Regaleira, just like in life.

Here’s to more magic, more wandering, more you & more us.

I’m very grateful to be recognized and nominated by the Connecticut Critics Circle for my work as Tevye in “Fiddler on the Roof” at ACT of Connecticut.

This role was profoundly meaningful to me. I learned so much from Tevye every night as an actor and as a human being. I’m so happy this production touched others the way it touched all of us involved in making it.

Thank you to @actofct & the entire “Fiddler” company, cast, crew, creative team, orchestra led by the amazing @bftpny Bryan Perri, and producers for pouring so much heart into this show. Your dedication, talent, and presence inspired me every single night. We all gave so much of ourselves to this piece and we still found joy along the way. I know that would’ve made Tevye proud.

Shortly after wrapping Fiddler on the Roof at ACT of Connecticut, I was asked to step into the role of Tevye again, this time @theargyletheatre

Now, in our final week of shows, I’ve been reflecting on what this journey has meant. Living in Tevye’s boots for over half a year across two productions has been one of the greatest educations of my life. Every night, I grow. As an actor. As a human.

Each production has taught me something new. The experience at ACT will always hold a deep place in my heart, and I’m just as grateful for the opportunity to continue exploring this role here at Argyle. It’s been a true joy working under the direction of @theevanpappas , an actor I admired early in my career, whose warmth, clarity & joy have made this process so rewarding.

And I can’t say enough about the beautiful dedication of this full company—the cast, crew, orchestra, and entire Argyle team—who bring such heart and care to this story every night.
