ITS GETTING CLOSE NOW! First run out on pike fold, I have played pike fold a good few times but not ran it before, was good to get out and set a pace see how we got on. THE STAGE IS SET! LOGISTICS - I need 2 people (Witnesses) with me at all times and these have to do shifts of 4 hours. So that’s a total 12 people. They will have to write statements at the end of there round which I submit to the Guinness world records. If you fancy running around the course with me for 4 hours jump in the DMs. I also need to film it all so if you know anyone who’d like to be part of filming the whole record attempt please reach out. I know that’s a big ask of someone or a team, so my thought process was to hire/borrow Go Pros and keep switching them, if anyone has a go pro or knows anyone who’d be willing to help out again let me know. Anyone’s welcome to come down over the two days, and support the more the merrier! Again all this is to raise money for the veterans foundation. LITTLE ULTRA FOR A TUESDAY On the hour every hour, which will be my pace on the day of the record attempt. HOW MANY HOLES IN 4 HOURS FIRSTLY as always I’m destroying my feet in the aid of the Veterans Foundation so please and donations would be greatly appreciated! Obviously the pace was quick, I wouldn’t be able to maintain that on the day of the race but good training and miles in the legs. 54 HOLES HOW QUICK!! JUST ANOTHER 366 HOLES ON THE DAY FIRST as always im doing this to raise money for the VETERANS FOUNDATION Who help out veterans and the families of veterans in need of help. So please any donations would be really appreciated! LINKS IN MY BIO along with the veterans impact report which details how the foundation helps! Go give it a read! Got some miles in the legs yesterday, but still not near enough be rapping up the miles this month. Was a good insight to see if I could maintain a certain pace. Was going to do 72 holes but had to shoot to a meal. I genuinely think I could have done 72 under 3 hours. GWR SERIES - STRAIGHT FROM A 12 HOUR NIGHT SHIFT!Firstly of course - DONATIONS PLEASE! If you’ve been following, I’m raising money for the veterans foundation. Any size of donation is greatly appreciated (link below)https://www.justgiving.com/page/dannys-24hourgolfchallengeThis challenge is going to be over 24 hours and from night to morning and the back to the evening so serious fatigue will set in! So what better way to emulate that then to go do 18 holes as quickly as possible and then run home from the course after being in work all night! The Record Attempt had been accepted by GWR so we are full steam ahead! Few stumbling blocks, the course has to be over 6000 yards and the one I was going to use isn’t so I’m on the search for a new course. Relatively flat would be ideal! GWR - SERIES PREPARATION Announced last week I am going to attempt a Guinness world record for the most golf holes played in 24 hours. So in Preparation for that I am doing a series to see how quick I can run 18 holes around different Golf courses around The UK! Anyone wanting to get involved and join me just jump in the DMs and we will get a Round sorted. AND IT TAKES LESS THAN AN HOUR! GUINNESS WORLD RECORD!!!MOST GOLF HOLES PLAYED IN 24 HOURS. Current record is 420 holes in 24 hours on a regulation course, set by Eric Byrnes in 2019. I’m going to try and beat this Record. In the video I went out to see how quick I could do 18 holes, i have to say I’ve got a lot of training to do, to be able to do another 23 rounds of 18 each under 1 hour! ✅Target 430 holes is 23.88 Rounds ✅18 holes each hour ✅3.33 mins per hole ✅100 miles Covered ⏰ When - Wednesday 05th August 6pm - 06th August 6pm (24hours none stop) ⛳️ Course - Marland Golf Course, Rochdale I’ve sent my application to GWR, this is just in the processing Stage (12 weeks) once confirmed I’ll have the full details on how the day will run. Along with this I will be Raising Money for the Veterans Foundation, Who help Veterans in need and Their families all across the UK!
