Dear my beloved brother,
Where do I even begin? The life you lived was so unexplainably incredible in so many different ways. You took adversity head-on year after year and asked for more. You showed me what it’s like to love and laugh and live and hurt. You touched the lives of so many people there’s truthfully too many to count. I’ve been trying to prepare for this day my entire life but truth is there is no preparing for such a tragedy. Your presence was truly enough to light up the darkest planet, how can you replace that? I learned so much from you; Isn’t it supposed to be the other way around when you’re the older brother? Not a day will go by where you don’t cross my mind, and I hope you stay on my shoulder until the end of time. You’re in a better place now; No one can ever say you lost this battle, The battle was put in your hands and you chose your fate; that’s more than most people in your situation get to do. You kicked cancers ass for 18 years, You graduated high school, started your own business, did everything that everyone said you never could. I wish I could have two more weeks with you to show you how much I appreciated you; at times it was hard to show it, but I just want you to know that I love you more than life itself and I’m so beyond incredibly proud of you. I hope they have all the forging, shrimp scampi and country music you can handle up there. You defied every medical textbook in existence. You’ve earned this, rest peacefully.
Love your biggest fan,
Your older brother.

-thanks for hosting such a great event, although AC (as a city) was less to be desired for; it’s the friends we made along the way. See ya next time 😉
