I can’t believe it’s been 30 years since I won Gold and claimed the title of the World’s Greatest Athlete in Atlanta 1996. It was an honor for me to follow in the footsteps of decathlon giants like Bob Mathias, Milt Cambell, Rafer johnson, Bill Toomey and of course Caitlyn Jenner. It was an experience that I will never forget and the lessons learned will stay with me forever. The most important of those being “no one wins alone”. I couldn’t have done it without Coach @sloan8051 and @daddy0keller thank you both for your dedication and belief. Special thanks to Dr. Jim Reardon for getting my mind right for the biggest moments of my athletic life. And a shout out to my daily training partner @joubemic you took me to another level pal. And finally a big thanks goes out to the Visa decathlon team family. You know who you are. It was an honor and privilege to represent the USA. Thank you all for your support. by @danobrien96

Had a great time last weekend at the @usatf outdoor champs at @icahnstadiumnyc . Announced a little, gave out some hardware, but mostly enjoyed some great track and field with great fans. I would definitely recommend the US champs coming back here again soon. More Picts to come. by @danobrien96

🏅 Flashback to an Unforgettable Morning of Movement and Mentorship!
.
💨 Thinking back to this past July when we had the absolute honor of hosting Gold Medal Olympian Dan O’Brien for our Hall of Fame Speed & Agility clinic! Our youth athletes from grades 1st–8th brought incredible energy to the Harrison High School track, learning from one of the best to ever do it.
.
🤝 It was a powerful day of speed training, enrichment, and motivation. Seeing our kids soak up wisdom from an Olympic legend is exactly why we do what we do at Hillside Connection.
.
✨ A huge shoutout to our partners at Harrison School District 2, the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Museum, and the City of Colorado Springs for helping us provide this world-class experience for free to our community!
.
👟 Whether it was mastering proper form or pushing for that extra burst of speed, these memories keep us inspired for the next season of growth.
.
👀More to come for Summer Jam 2026!
