Me at the start of this hike: “You probably won’t see any wildlife bigger than a squirrel because it’s a popular trail and there are 12 of us here. Don’t worry about snakes it’s too cold and too late.”
Within the first mile we saw a massive snake and a deer that was just 20ft away having dinner.
Very grateful for the rare chance to do a night hike and twilight dinner in the mountains.

Bagged the highest points in Kern county and Ventura county in the same day! There is still a lot of snow up here, 3ft in some places! I never lost the trail. Not once. Nope, not at all 👀

Last week I was on one of the most epic vacations of my life in southern Chile. 75 miles of wind, rain, wind, snow, glaciers, guanacos, wind, and pumas. (heard but not seen) Huge thanks to @p.u.c.k.e.t.t excursions for organizing and creating an incredible experience! What made this trip so special was honestly the group of guys we had. Some of my favorite moments were raiding the refugios every night for wine and then laughing until our sides hurt as much as our feet did.🤣 Together we crossed rivers, climbed mountains, endured extreme weather, and reminded ourselves that we can rise to any challenge. 💙💙Patagonia👬Chile💙💙 •
