Not feeling as a good improviser, I decided to accept the call to create something new by using an old technique I did back in the electronic music lab back in grad school. Instead of using command lines like I used to, I did in Final Cut Pro here. It worked well with dreamy music like the Cocteau Twins, but today's attempt still had some interesting results. There a handful of variations where I change the length the clips and the pitch. The last one is kind of a downer. Maybe skip that if you're in a bad mood. Steve Reich was known for doing this in the 60s with pieces such as "Come Out". I call the technique #microcanon. Not unlike a canon (aka round) used in music where one musical phrase follows another with the same phrase such as in "Row Your Boat." by @danoramic440
