This audio wrecks me. It’s so true though. I used to smoke, drink, eat whatever, and have zero discipline. It took me a while to realize how badly a change was needed. I decided to make sure my daughter would never know a fat lazy dad that smoked, drank and was too tired to do anything. To be an example to my boys of what real manhood looks like. The most important eyes are upon me and only I can make that change. My children will suffer from my lack of commitment, dedication and discipline to being the best man, best dad, I can be for them. #run #strength #active #dad #running by @danruns42

The more I post the more I realize I rarely if ever WANT to go for a run. A flood of excuses fill my head. Every movement to get out of bed is a battle from the onslaught of the voices saying lay back down. The closer to go time the stronger those voices get. The cascade of excuses pour down harder like a storm. The only way to silent those voices is to take that first step.
