Have to be careful not to overuse superlatives, but what an episode this was.
We had the magnificent @treycallaway on the show.
There were laughs, there might have been some tears, there definitely was lots of honesty.
Fun to hear from a showrunner of so many great shows. Tales of failed pitches turning into success, letters from dying viewers and the loss of a best friend.
Trey was an amazing guest.

New podcast out today.
Best-selling author John Green joins the show.
He wrote Fault in Our Stars, Paper Towns, Turtles All The Way Down and now a new book Hollywood, Ending.
Such a pleasure to have John on the show to talk about writing, fame, imposter syndrome and unsold books being turned into toilet paper.
I even sneaked in some @afc_wimbledon questions.

This weekend is one of my favourite nights of the season.
The year after we nearly got thrown out of our home stadium by an ill-intentioned local mls club, we allowed our fans to become our owners.
While fighting to save our club we realised just how much our fans cared - from how they showed up at council meetings and the impassioned pleas they made.
Sometimes you don’t know what you’ve got until someone tries to take it away from you.
So, inspired by the long-suffering @afc_wimbledon fans model - whose supporters became owners as they recovered from an even crueller set of circumstances - we created our own community ownership opportunity.
We now have more than 2k owners, from more than 30 states, more than ten countries and nearly 500 just in the UK.
Our owners include world champion boxers (@tarasshelestyuk), Scottish rugby internationals (@chriscusiter), social media icons (@ellisplatten) and even legendary authors like John Green and an American Idol legend (@singlikeyaminit).
And, more importantly, some of our most loyal fans - families who spoke at council meetings to save the club, supporters who watched us when we played in a much smaller stadium in our very early years and football lovers from across the country who fell in love with us when they heard our story.
And this weekend we celebrate them at the stadium, with a half-time parade, special merch and discounts and free tickets.
Not only is it a special night it also happens to be a must-win game in our playoff hunt against the reigning champions (whose President @hounds_prez Jeff Garner was both my boss and our President when we won it all in 2021).
Owners night is always a special night as it reminds us of the importance of community football teams, real fandom and why sport remains the most important of unimportant things. by @danrutstein

The legendary @johngreenwritesbooks has a new book out today - Hollywood, Ending.
Although our podcast interview with him doesn’t drop until Thursday.
Always an honour to jump on with this extraordinary author. And, yes, I sneaked in some @afc_wimbledon questions.
This was John’s answer to the question of whether he maybe had signed too many, or not enough books.
The stakes are real, the book either is a success or it ends up in the toilet. (Although I don’t think that is a real fear given his track record).

Everyone has their memories of this tragic day.
I was working as a journalist in York, England. My role that day was to walk around the streets, find Americans and tell them what was going on. And then get their reaction.
I walked some folks into pubs where the footage was on television.
Telling Americans on vacation their country was under attack was a very surreal experience. And the raw emotions, disbelief and, in a couple of cases, personal connections to that part of New York, stay with me today. by @danrutstein
