I found a vintage toy store in New York that feels like every toy aisle from the last forty years got shaken up and made a magical toy store of nostalgia.

@dansparentshouse on City Island started by selling toys out of his own attic at the Brooklyn Flea, and it’s now in an 1860s building. Bins on the floor you dig through, glass cases on the wall, Ninja Turtles next to Dick Tracy next to Marx Nutty Mads next to a hundred year old Wizard of Oz lion that still works.

One thing that isn’t in the video: Dan does his buying on Thursdays, so Thursday is when new collections hit the floor.

Do you prefer digging the bins or going for mint?
