Don't just embrace big life pivots; create them.
-
NYC has ALWAYS been my happy place!
-
Before the pandemic, I'd travel to the big apple to grab a slice of Junior's Cheesecake and then enjoy a Broadway show.
-
So when I was inspired to take my audacious hiatus, NYC was immediately my first choice.
-
Over several weeks, I saw more shows (some even twice with friends who came to visit), concerts, parties, and museums than I ever could have imagined.
-
Even though I traveled there alone, I met some of the most BEAUTIFUL and LOVING people from all walks of life, socioeconomic statuses, and career fields.
-
I released an income stream, my familiar place of living, and the fear of the unknown to travel the world and be genuinely happy.
-
I've learned that we can cultivate genuine happiness in our own lives by creating audacious pivots for ourselves.
-
I'm still pivoting on this hiatus, and I hope you all enjoy this audacious journey with me!

Lilacs only bloom for about two weeks and then they’re gone.

They provide a gentle reminder to all of to appreciate what we have, enjoy it while we can, and stop and smell the lilacs. 💜

Self-Care is the most important thing you can do for yourself.

Sometimes you just need to slow down and focus on you.

It looks different for everyone and that’s okay.

Sometimes it’s as simple as ordering a grande peppermint mocha from @starbucks.

On days like today, I like to slow down and enjoy relaxing facial, manicure, and pedicure.

Do what makes you genuinely happy.

Prepare yourself for opportunities that don’t exist yet.

Four years ago, during my meditation time, I made a list of 101 Audacious Intentions.
-
One of those intentions included traveling to Paris and visiting the Eiffel Tower.
-
Recently I was meditating and the opportunity was just right for me to travel but did I really want to visit the city of love alone?
-
THE DEVIL’S HOME, YES 😂🙌🏽
-
Your value is not determined by someone’s opinion or presence.
-
Know who you are without a person in life to validate and tell you.
-
You’re valuable and until you see that for yourself, you’ll always be disappointed when someone else doesn’t recognize your value.
-
What I know for sure is that love attracts love, that includes self-love too.

Purpose isn’t something you find, it’s something you uncover.

In 2018, I started interviewing people from all walks of life on @AudaciousBelieverTV.

Most people didn’t know that I had just experienced a disappointing heartbreak before recording the first episode.

I refused to allow heartbreak to pull me out of my vortex of self-love and love for others.

On my therapeutic journey, I uncovered a gift and a passion for sharing stories in a fun and effervescent way!
-
A way that has allowed my gift to make room for me and bring me before great men and women.

What if the hurt, disappointment, wounding, and betrayal you’ve experienced are actually a shaking and an awakening?
-
What if everything you’ve been through, was simply preparing you to create a life you truly love.

Sometimes you don’t have to catch a flight to catch vibe.

Our hometowns are packed with hidden gems that we can sometimes take for granted as we’re scrolling through social media.
-
Comparison is a theft of joy. Hometown joy.
-
You don’t have to just live vicariously through me or any other social media personality.
-
Your best life is absolutely available to you.
-
You work hard and you deserve to play harder.
-
You have everything you need to be the best version of yourself to live your best life.
-
We need a healthy self-image to have the audacity to pursue all that God has in store for us.
