Esta obra será mi primer novela gráfica publicada. :D
(Wait for the English version ;) )
Gracias a @purapinchefortalezacomics que este año mi amigo @darkkomics y yo, pudimos ganar el concurso nacional de novela gráfica que hacen cada año y tendremos la oportunidad de presentarlo físicamente en la @filguadalajara a inicios de Diciembre.
Estoy muy emocionado de poder compartirles mi trabajo y conocer lo que piensan y les haya hecho sentir.
Próximamente daré más actualizaciones , pero esta es la portada final del libro. Espero les guste 🖤

Inner Demon.

I created this creature for some test pages I did for a publishing project that I ultimately didn't get the job for.

However, the story described many nightmarish, very "welcome to Derry" scenarios, and I had a lot of creative freedom to create whatever nightmare scenario I wanted within the story. So, I decided to create a monster I'd been longing to draw and bring into the world somehow, and this was the perfect excuse to pour out all my "personal" imagination and images and designs I'd been saving for a while, which are constant sources of inspiration.

Honestly, the "bitter" feeling I might have had about not getting the project was quite dissipated because I felt very satisfied with having created this creature, and I'm very motivated by the idea of venturing into creating a bestiary in the future... I lack the time and, surely, the experience to be more creative and make something worthwhile.

Anyway, I just wanted to publish and share it. I hope you like it, and thanks for reading 🖤💀🫀

EYES.

I felt I needed to create this piece. I don't think I've found a better way to express and process my feelings than by drawing. I not only feel like I transform all my chaos into order, but I also end up feeling proud and excited at the end of almost all my works.
Lately, I've felt like my head is a Chaos, and suddenly the idea of creating my most personal version of Griffith came to me with great excitement: a Griffith I imagine spending thousands of years as a member of God's Hand, to the point that he transformed into a creature of cosmic horror. I combined all the visual language I've been developing these past few months into a piece I made simply to try and feel better.
Ultimately, I also set myself some challenges, and in this case, I wanted to try to create a cosmic horror background in the style of Kentaro Miura. Ever since I saw the pages from the deleted chapter of Berserk, I've been fascinated by those images of "the idea of evil," so I decided to create my own version of it 🫀.

I've been wanting and searching for a way to become a professional comic book artist for far too long. It's my dream, my greatest desire, and what drives me every day. Last year, I had my first big opportunity to show my work to the world thanks to the publication of my graphic novel, which I created with a friend (Desidium). While this brought me closer to feeling "valid" as an artist, I still longed for the opportunity of a foreign publisher who would believe in what I do. Thanks to the portfolio I created at the beginning of the year, where I finally felt I was developing a more honest and personal (and stranger) visual language and aesthetic, I was fortunate enough to gain significant reach and exposure. This led to my first truly BIG opportunity: a message from a great artist and author whom I deeply admire @cjwardart

I feel incredibly grateful for this project. I'm excited by the themes, the characters, the aesthetic... I feel I can genuinely project all my interests, and that they fit perfectly with the project.

On this cover, the being emerging from the sea of blood is the God of this universe, and Paimon (the monster posing opposite) is the Devil. I hope you can soon read this great story and be as amazed as I am :)

This is what the Xenomorph represents to me. This is what I see. I don't know when my compass of what I consider beautiful, what I like, what attracts me to see, feel, or understand, broke, but I like that it's this way. I like that there are other people with the same broken compass, and I like that what I now call sensitivity feels increasingly personal, more authentic, and more exciting to me.

A year ago, I met Rafael Grampa at CCXP, and while talking about drawing buildings, cars, or tedious things, he motivated me to form my own opinion about all kinds of things (architecture, clothes, cars, furniture, clouds, fire, etc.) and give them the chance to appeal to me and discover what I like about everything around me.

That's what I did all year long. I learned to analyze and verbalize why I like what I like, why certain things attract me, why I feel they matter.

I still have SO MUCH to learn, and I feel incredibly ignorant because of it. But it doesn't scare me anymore; instead, it excites me to think I have my whole life to discover it, and I feel like I'm finding a language to express it.

This is my catharsis of what I learned last year. It's also a personal piece that represents what matters to me, what I feel, and what I want to do.

I hope you like it as much as I do, and if you can share it, I would really appreciate it. 🙂

JACK 🖤

I love this character since I was a kid and to me, going to @timburtonslabyrinth was a dream come true. I felt really inspired and for some reasons I had the time/opportunity to do this piece.

I had never draw him in my life, probably because I was scare of how to do adapt a character with that level of abstraction and stylization into a more "figurative" approach, but being honest, im really suprise with myself that even with my "anatomicaI style" i could figure out an interesting and scary design that stills feeling (at least to me) like the original Pumpkin King 🎃...

Thanks to @diegoandradeart who helped me to figure out how to do this illustration (He is a master doing flowers).
This is an homage to Sandman Overture and it was a challenge to me, but I think I explored many things that I wanted to draw long time ago.

BERSERK - Jonathan x Dante
For this illustration, Jonathan and I (Dante) collaborated after meeting at La Mole (2026). We developed a mutual admiration and a great love for Berserk, jajaja. Jonathan took the initiative to create this illustration, and those who attended CCXP 26 were able to see it in person. I'm very grateful to Jonathan for working together and also very happy with the result, combining our styles in this composition. It had to be clear and balanced so that we both stood out equally and could contribute our individual styles and choices. Personally, when drawing Griffith, I wanted to further accentuate the features I love about his design: the weight of his eyes, his sublime, almost superhuman physique. I wanted to exaggerate his anatomy even more to make him unsettling, just as he's revealed the first time in the Eclipse. I think that feeling of fear, along with his sadness and coldness, should always be present in him.

I kind of needed to do this piece, I wanted to show my take on his design and what he makes me feel when they revealed the final design. He has one of the most interesting anatomy in all the DC characters and I felt this was made for me.
