Thinking about how one day, my little girl will possibly be a grandma, I’ll be long gone and all I can hope for, is that these memories at home, right now, that we’re getting to experience remain with with her. I hope that one day, when it’s her time to say goodbye to the family she’s created, she’ll know the love that I know now looking at her sweet face and she’ll smile and for a moment and even in her old age, she’ll be daddy’s little baby girl again, small and safe and in my arms. We’ll all go when it’s our time. It’s the memories we’re making now. Her mom and I are doing our best to make sure her childhood is one to look back and smile on. You put a C chord in my hands and I’m writing a song lol I cried twice trying to get through it. Dylan watched me singing it to her fondly and then at the end, came up and wiped my tears with her shirt sleeve and said, I love you daddy. I’m living a dream being her father. The reward from my intense training program for the past 3 months that looks like this, is that I feel unstoppable and my wife and daughter get my best me. Monday - 2 mile run, Chest and shoulders/Abs Tuesday - HYROX 5miles Wednesday - Back and Bis/Abs Thursday - Legs HEAVY!
