I’ve mentioned this to a few of you, but a week ago I came across a dog tied to a post in Burgess Park.
I thought it was a bit strange that I couldn’t see anyone nearby and decided to wait a while just to check. After half an hour it was clear no one was coming but Bex another concerned local had also decided to wait with me.

We called the local rescue centre, then the council and after a short four hour wait 🫠 the dog warden came to help. He scanned the dog, realised he was chipped and told me he’d be taken to a kennel to wait for the owner.

I thought there was no way the owner would leave him and then want him back so I decided to leave my information and hope to hear something. After a long week’s wait, Milo is now our family dog. by @danyalgolabi
