In July of 2023 God gave me a relationship that I never knew I would be so impacted by.
.
@annalunday_ is honestly one of the kindest - sweetest- goofiest - most intelligent- hard working honest souls I have ever had the opportunity to know.
.
A little over a year ago she said - I am going to UNM and I want you to work with me. Wait ? What ? You my dear don’t need work- but we will mock and talk it through and I am most definitely going to be #TeamAnna. And so it began.
.
And here we are - new crown on her head and new keys in her hand- and renewed desire to make an impact in ways she had never dreamed she would.
.
Being at UNM this weekend people would say - she is gorgeous! And they are correct- she is. They would say- her clothes are fantastic- you are correct. She has an innate sense of style. They would say - she is so humble and kind. Correct again.
.
But then. She answered her On Stage Question and absolutely showed everyone in the auditorium and those watching online - what an INCREDIBLELY intelligent and amazing speaker she is. She delivered the most eloquent explanation of who she is- and what she stands for- and her plan for the year.
.
We talked about ( if you know me you know we do this - ) the 3 things she wanted the judges to know. And she literally nailed each point.
.
Anna - I couldn’t be prouder to be not just #TeamAnna but someone who considers you family. You are a blessing — and I love you
.

Every. Tuesday. Night. 8pm.

For the last year and half.
.
And there she is- your new Miss High School America AND - your Overall Interview Winner ( and also Fun Fashion winner ) to say I am a proud interview coach is an UNDERSTATEMENT!!
.
I couldn’t have been prouder for this amazing young woman who until tonight had stood in the top 5 twice but hadn’t brought home a preliminary award or the title but tonight did BOTH !!
.
One of the best moments was to face time her other coach @kbgreenway with @pageantperformance to share in the moment. She has worked with KB for years and to be part of the team was WONDERFUL!!!
.
@abby.dries @misstarheelhighschoolamerica will be an amazing @misshighschoolamerica … I cannot wait to watch her year unfold !
.

Thank you @sweetcarolineskm for ALWAYS nailing the cake. For the last 14 years you have been present at EVERY important event - and never disappoint. The best of the best.
.
@riracharlotte - 10 out of 10 for event venue. Your staff was excellent - gracious and on point. And the food was fantastic!!
.
For EVERYONE that came - THANK YOU for ALWAYS showing up.
.
My favorite part of the night was watching @austinivory30 turn around and see yet another “surprise “ person. From his #LittleSister to family and to the friends that ARE family.
.
Crossing state lines in the pouring rain - to airplane rides - you all made it the best night.

I cannot believe that 30 years ago God chose ME to be HIS moma -
.
There hasn’t been a single second that @austinivory30 hasn’t brought me joy- laughter and reminded me what and who is important in life.
.
Watching him THRIVE and live his best life is my most favorite pastime. From singing on stage - to emceeing - to dancing- to styling - to hearing him and his friends laugh and tell stories - to watching the littles with him - teaching them that they are important and he sees and hears them…. Seeing him be the person that people can and do depend on - makes my moma heart happy.
.
Tonight - we have come into Charlotte to celebrate his 30th bday with family and friends. Over the last few weeks - the reminder of how important people are in your life and the blessing of having people that you love and that love you back - has been driven home.
.
While there are some important people that won’t be able to be here- the GIFT of LIFE is the MOST important. If you know you know !
.
To those that have literally taken PLANE RIDES - traveled across states - made a point to be here - taken time out of your busy holiday weekend to celebrate with us - THANK YOU. You will never know how much it means to him. To those that have celebrated him in other ways and other times - thank you. We miss you.
.

In 4 hours my neice and nephew will head Charlotte for the gift of life.
.
Tim will be given the gift of life through organ donation. Joe stepped up and was tested and was match to donate a kidney to Tim.
.
Tomorrow - the lives of my Neice - Nephew - Great Neice and Great Nephew will forever be changed by a family that just decided to BE the difference we all want to see in the world.
.
So I ask you to lift BOTH families- all medical staff and every person who crosses their paths in prayer.
.
From those that pass on the highway - to those who pass them in the hallways - to those who have their hands on their lives ….. for them all to know the goodness of God.
.
As I Lay down tonight all I can think of are the lyrics of the Goodness of God.
.
All my life You have been faithful
All my life You have been so, so good
With every breath that I am able
Oh, I will sing of the goodness of God
.
Pray. Pray. And Pray.
.
For my family to feel the Goodness of God tomorrow during surgery and in the days to follow.

Spent the day with some amazing people. #RUSA has been family since before it was actually created. Being able to support @the.royaltyusa.director for the past 20 plus years has always been a joy.
.
From #TheBatesMotel ( IYKYK) to the famous zebra parties to her current National Pageant. Michelle believes in family - service - kindness and integrity.
.
Thank you for always being a friend Michelle. What a great weekend - once again. Next up —- Nationals in Charleston !

April 2026. It’s been about showing up.

Showing up for those you love and making sure they know you love them. Showing up not just on social media - but in the car- down the road - making people a priority.
.
You can’t expect people to show up if you never do. Here’s to me working hard to continue to show up for people in 2026. It’s my goal.

For the past 5 years @kimberlypixtonmillar has hosted the BEST #DerbyParty and this year was no exception.

Food. Fun. Friends. Laughter. Races. Hats. And of course a new CHAMPION!!

Thank you Kim for ALWAYS being the best host with the most eclectic group of incredible individuals that keep the conversations lively and so much fun !!
