Stop Motion Title Sequence for the Movie Run Lola Run. I was tasked with redesigning the title sequence for the movie Run Lola Run. Run Lola Run is a 1998 German film about a woman named Lola who has 20 minutes to find 100,000 Deutsche Marks to save her boyfriend's life.

I decided to create a stop motion. I first edited clips of the movie together and animated the type with After Effects. I then printed all 650 frames, traced all the typography, and scanned them in. I brought them into After Effects, then I printed out each frame on yellow vellum paper to create a textured film strip effect. I scanned it all in to get my final result.

The movie uses the color yellow to emphasize the slow calm moments and red to emphasize the stressful and fast parts. Throughout the title sequence, It goes from yellow to red to emphasize this idea. In the movie things change and flip constantly so I wanted the typography to do the same. by @danyell.lll
