Day 14

There’s a story behind every project.

Ours began on June 3, 2014.

What seemed like an ordinary day quickly became a fight for my life when I unexpectedly suffered a stroke. Doctors warned my family that the chances of survival were low, and in an instant, everything changed.

After countless prayers and three days in a coma, I survived.

Six months later, I faced a second surgery. This one was planned, but the risks were just as serious. Once again, my family and I were confronted with uncertainty, fear, and the possibility of losing my life.

Between those two surgeries, this foundation became a promise.

A promise that if I was given a second chance at life, we would use it to make a difference in the lives of others.

What began in a hospital room became a mission of gratitude, hope, and service.

Today, 12 years later, as I reflect on that journey, I am reminded that some of life's greatest purposes are born from its hardest moments. We celebrate not only survival, but purpose.

Every fundraiser, every donor, every supporter? and every child who will be impacted is a reminder that even life's darkest moments can become the foundation for something beautiful.

This organization was born from a second chance at life, and with your support, we're turning that second chance into hope, opportunities, and brighter futures for others.

Día 11/Day 11

Necesitaba algo para publicar hoy, así que decidí compartir estas fotos de una recaudación de fondos que organicé cuando tenía 16 años (Navidad de 2017) para regalar juguetes a niños en la República Dominicana durante mis vacaciones navideñas con mi familia.

Nunca compartí estas fotos en las redes sociales (más allá de enviarlas directamente a las personas que donaron), porque no era algo que hice para que otros lo vieran y pensaran que lo estaba haciendo por esa razón. Lo hice porque sabía que muchos de esos niños no recibirían nada en Navidad, y probablemente nunca lo habían recibido. Quería brindarles un momento de alegría, quizás un recuerdo especial y se que lo hicimos.

Gracias a las donaciones que recibimos, pudimos comprar más de 100 juguetes y meriendas, los cuales fueron regalados a los niños. ❤️

Ahora, se que la fundacion Dios Cumple Su Promesa es un projecto mucho mas grande, pero tambien se que va a tener un impacto positivo mucho mas grande en la vida de muchos niños y familias en la comunidad.

Day 11

I needed something to post today, so I decided to share these photos from a fundraiser I organized when I was 16 years old (Christmas 2017) to give toys to children in the Dominican Republic during my Christmas vacation with my family.

I never shared these photos on social media (other than sending them directly to the people who donated), because it wasn't something I did for others to see or for recognition. I did it because I knew that many of those children wouldn't receive anything for Christmas, and probably never had. I wanted to give them a moment of happiness, perhaps a special memory, and I know we accomplished that.

Thanks to the donations we received, we were able to purchase more than 100 toys and snacks, which were gifted to the children. ❤️

Now I know that the Dios Cumple Su Promesa Foundation is a much bigger project, but I also know that it will have an even greater positive impact on the lives of many children and families in the community. by @danyir01

Some updates not from today, but recent ones:
- Two T-shirts were sold, you can get yours for $20 and 100% of the profit goes to the construction of the foundation.
- The roof as accumulating water and puddles were forming, got fixed✔️I hope.

Algunas actualizaciones que no son de hoy, pero sí recientes:
- Se vendieron dos camisetas. Puedes conseguir la tuya por $20 y el 100% de las ganancias se destina a la construcción de la fundación.
- El techo estaba acumulando agua y se estaban formando charcos; ya fue reparado ✔️ Espero. by @danyir01
