💜 Today is Purple Thursday! 💜

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and today, I’m wearing purple to show my support for survivors of domestic violence.

Behind every statistic is a real person, a family, and a story that deserves to be heard. Today is a reminder that survivors are not alone, that their voices matter, and that everyone deserves to feel safe, respected and loved.

Let’s continue to raise awareness, break the silence, and remind survivors that support and hope are out there.

Happy 19th Birthday to our Sammy! ❤️🎂

How in the world are you 19 already? It feels like just yesterday you were that little girl who made me a dad, and now here you are, growing into such a strong, independent young woman. You’ve been a force of nature since the day you were born, and that hasn’t changed one bit!

You’ve had a pretty amazing year, Sam! You’ve continued doing what you love as a summer camp counselor, making a difference in the lives of so many little ones. You were promoted to shift supervisor at Starbucks, and you passed your driver’s test! We couldn’t be prouder of you and all that you’re accomplishing.

But as proud as we are of those milestones, we’re even prouder of the person you are. You have such a big heart, a beautiful spirit, and so much potential to do good in this world. You are a child of God, and our biggest wish is that you always remember that, keep your faith strong, and let Him guide you along the way, even when life gets complicated.

Sammy, never forget how much you are loved and how many people are cheering you on. Your mom and I will always be two of your biggest fans, and we can’t wait to see what this next year brings for you.

Happy Sweet 16 to our beautiful daughter, Addie! ❤️
It’s hard to believe that the little girl who stole our hearts 16 years ago has grown into such an incredible young woman. Every day, you amaze us, not only with your beauty, but with your intelligence, your kindness, your compassion, and the unwavering love you have for the Lord.
One of the things we admire most is how you rise to every occasion. Whether it’s on stage, in school, with your friends, or serving others, you give your very best and inspire those around you. Your talents are remarkable, but it’s your character that makes us the proudest. You lead with grace, humility, and a heart that reflects God’s love.
Watching you grow has been one of life’s greatest blessings. You bring so much joy, laughter, and love to our family, and we couldn’t be more grateful to call you our daughter. You truly are the love of our lives.

Happy anniversary to the woman who turned four hours over really bad ice cream into one of my favorite memories of my entire life.

I still think about that first date all the time. The conversation felt effortless, the laughter was constant, and somewhere between all those hours together, I knew there was something incredibly special about you. Funny enough, the ice cream was probably the worst part of the night, but everything else was absolutely perfect.

Thank you for being my favorite conversation, my favorite memory, and my favorite person. I’d relive that night with you a thousand times over. by @danymca006
