In the fall, I always feel like baking something delicious. 🍐🤎 While the muffins are in the oven, the house quickly fills with the wonderful scent of pears and cinnamon. A big pot of tea on the table, and then just a little while until they’re ready… I really enjoy that.

Our website features a delicious recipe for pear muffins with almonds and cinnamon. They’re great with tea, as a snack, or to enjoy together.

Are you going to bake some? ✨

For me, fall is all about those afternoons when you just want to stay cozy indoors. I grabbed my markers and spent some time coloring in the Daphne’s Diary Mindfulness Coloring Book. Just letting my mind go blank, playing around with colors a bit, and enjoying a cup of tea while I was at it. 🤎

It’s wonderful to spend an afternoon like this just to unwind. Who wants to color with me? 🖍️

It's fall, and I immediately feel like making the house a little cozier. 🍂🤎

With a few wooden discs and some paint, you can make the cutest fall coasters. I painted a mushroom, a leaf, and a pumpkin on them. 🍄🍁🎃 It’s a simple DIY project for a cozy afternoon, and then you can keep using them all fall long!

Would you like to make some too?

With a little buttercream, chocolate, and caramel, I turned these plain cookies into little pumpkins. 🍂🎃 My favorite part is always the decorating: each cookie turns out just a little different, and before you know it, there’s a whole collection on the table.

Of course, they don’t all have to be perfect—as long as they taste good. And luckily, they do. 🤎🍪
Who would you invite to bake pumpkin cookies with?

During my Camino hike to Santiago de Compostela, Maartje and I took a little detour to Saint-Cirq-Lapopie. 🤍 A little village where something beautiful awaited you around every corner.

For my travel journal, I made a collage of these wonderful memories, using photos, stickers from the Daphne’s Diary Stickerbook, and pretty paper from the Paper Book. ✂️📖🌿 Later, I’ll add some more memories from our walk through this beautiful French village.

That’s how the best moments of a trip get their own special place to be cherished.

Anne had to cover her books for school, and of course I was happy to give her a hand. 🤍📚 I think it’s a waste to buy new book-covering paper when I still have all kinds of pretty things lying around at home.

I still had an old little paper bag, and it turned out to be just what we needed. Now it gets a second life!✂️

Then we got out the Daphne’s Diary sticker books and decorated the book with cheerful stickers and a pretty card from Paper Book 1. This makes covering the books a lot more fun, and Anne will soon have a schoolbook that’s totally her style. ✨

Do you guys also cover your schoolbooks together at home?

Love, Daphne 🌸
