I have finished the latest corset I’ve been working on. I’m really happy with it, and think it’s the best corset I’ve made so far. The corset is a dark green suede with an orange silk lining and hand embroidered with cording, crystals, and feathers. The feathers were challenging as I haven’t worked with them much, but through some trial and error I am pleased with the results. It sparkles beautifully when the light hits it. I’ve included a photo of my original sketch idea. I’m not the greatest at sketching but it helps to get my ideas on paper. I made a few changes along the way but this always happens. Hope you like it! Thank you to @friedfreresparis for a lot of the crystals!

Don’t you just love a good leather corset?

This corset is made from vintage upcycled leather collected around 15 years ago.

Parisian sunset in color 💛

This skirt is made with 100% cotton.

The lace comes from an unopened window curtain my mother bought in the 1960s.

Creating clothing from reused material is very dear to me.

Especially when it comes from something as sentimental as my mothers garments. She is the inspiration behind my love for sewing.
