When you’re from a small town and go back as the
“Dancer from LA”
…they’re gonna make you dance.
That’s ok though, I was gonna dance anyways lol
I’m in town for my cousins wedding and I feel recharged from spending time with my family/friends in my old stomping grounds that shaped me. I love living in LA, but there’s something special about the calmness and actually seeing the changing of the seasons that is so spiritually fulfilling. Congratulations to Patrick and Kristin! I love y’all more than an all expenses paid music festival cruise that happens to be at the same time as your wedding 😏 lol

Also, I’m often dapped out but rarely suited up so I had to take this chance to be a suited shuffler. I’ll probably leave it to the professionals like @thesuitedshuffler but it was kinda nice tbh. Maybe a dappersuited collab will finally manifest? taken in North East, Maryland by @dapprdanny

Reflecting on my amazing experience @elementsfestival 🔥💦🌲💨

It was full of resplendence, love and whimsy
🩷❤️🧡💛 🎡💚🩵💙💜

There were fireworks in the air…and also lots of fire.

….lots of fire!

The Neon Forest was full of random neat spectacles in every direction. You’d see something new and awesome every time you walked through

The Fun Factory delivered on its name and produced all kinds of Fun. From shuffle classes to newly made up games (and lots of stuff in between), you never knew what kind of shenanigans you’d stumble upon.

Fire stage stayed pushing out the heat ♨️

Had some of my favorite memories dancing under the octopuses tentacles at the Water Stage

Earth stage lighting up the night and infusing the world with Bass 🔊

A look back at when I shuffled down the catwalk for a festival fashion show

@elementsfestival is only days away and I’m excited to get the full experience this time (only went for a day last year).
One of the things I’m most excited about is participating in the fashion show (9/7 Friday 7pm at the Heart Gallery) for @soulvisioncompany . Can’t wait to check out so many of the awesome musical artists and so many other neat, random shenanigans that this festival offers! by @dapprdanny

Here we go again…

After almost 4 years since the original, the tradition of reposting this when I’m back in Maryland continues. The “Dancer from LA” followed his intuition and moved back to the place he’s from in search of serenity and stability. It’s funny where life takes you.
I recently landed a new career and a new apartment in a new town in a new state with a chance to create a new version of myself.
While I’m still the “guy from the wedding video”, I dance to a new tune.
I’ve planned on reposting this video for months now, as it typically coincides with me coming back here, but have felt disconnected and things stagnated. I have low expectations that this will blow up again, but I suppose it was always a surprise the last 3 times, so here’s another trial run of the viral experiment.
It felt like the right time to share this again as I reflect on that time and version of myself and embark on this new chapter. Thanks for riding with me; I’m excited to take this trip 🛤️🚂💨 by @dapprdanny

New Years Ball Drop 🫳🏼🪩🏡

Bringing back a classic to close out the year.
I tried to muster some deep instrospective thoughts about all the change I saw in 2025, but I’m honestly still processing it. I decided to move back east where I’m from to settle down in search of stability and to reassess my priorities. Sometimes it’s hard to know what you want and you just have to trust your intuition. I went with a life reset and am rediscovering who I am and what my purpose is going forward.
I’m still on that quest.
As I look back, not just on 2025, but my time in LA, I am proud of who I became. I grew up with a small town mentality where you don’t shine too bright in fear of being lambasted and ostracized. Finding my community and moving to LA truly allowed me to grow into my true self. It allowed me to dress and act resplendently with the confidence to be “Dapper”.
As I enter the next chapter of my life I wonder whats next? What do I want? Who do I want to be? What makes me happy? Like I said, I’m still processing it…but as I reflect I realize I didn’t know what I wanted when I moved to LA either. I let my intuition guide me. So here we are again….lets see what’s around the corner and what 2026 and the future have in store. Let’s see how the ginger bread cookie house crumbles.
