ALTERA065: DARIO ALFIERI (link in bio)
Dario Alfieri (real name Max Riviello) is a DJ, producer and founder of Vacuity Podcast, a podcast and label based in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico.
His decision to fully immerse himself in techno had been developing for years, beginning around 2013–2016. During that period, while exploring production across trip-hop, hip-hop, ambient, noise and experimental music, he also began mixing techno, drawing inspiration from artists such as Ben Klock, Freddy K, Richie Hawtin, Vril and Rødhåd.
Over time, Max decided to focus more deeply on mixing and the art of DJing, bringing with him the knowledge and perspective gained through music production. His sound is rooted in pure, authentic techno, with a strong focus on depth, intensity and musical identity.
Through Vacuity Podcast, Max aims to promote the real essence of techno and help build a stronger scene in Guadalajara, a city he sees as important for the development of electronic music. The project has already featured international and Mexican artists such as Diana Franco, Felxhus, Syd Valerik and Jose Carbonell.
Vacuity is driven by a commitment to honest techno culture, supporting artists who dedicate themselves authentically to the genre and its concept. As both founder and DJ, Max Riviello represents that vision through carefully crafted sets that reflect the sound and spirit of the label. by @dar.ioalfieri
