Welcome to BHX, DarJar.

Daran Jarrod aka DarJar is music curator, cultural tastemaker, and creative entrepreneur with an ear for what moves a room.

He has built his name on more than knowing what to play. It’s knowing when to play it. With a style shaped by a deep appreciation for music, culture, and the art of a well-curated experience, his sets move across sounds and eras while always staying connected to the moment.

That instinct has put him behind the decks for some notable cultural spaces, including events for the NAACP and BeyGOOD, and continues to make him a sought-after presence for experiences where the music matters just as much as the setting.

Now, we’re proud to welcome DarJar to the BHX talent roster, representing him for select events and opportunities.

Because the right DJ doesn’t just soundtrack the night. They help define it.

For DarJar bookings and inquiries, connect with BHX.

About a week ago, I had the opportunity to DJ the Blue Jacket Fashion Show, an incredible event bringing awareness to prostate cancer and the importance of Black men getting tested. ✊🏽

We had a time! Special thanks to @demijanell and @frederickanderson_designer for having me and trusting me with the vibes.

And a huge thank you to @dashinglytod and Bloomingdale’s for getting me right and styling me for the occasion. 🙌🏽

Great energy, great people, and an even greater cause. 💙
