I’m so excited and grateful to officially announce that whilst my rangatahi will take the stage to compete in this amazing event, I personally have been invited to be perform as a Special Guest at the Youth Talent Quest 2026 ✨

📍 Sir Howard Morrison Centre, Rotorua
📅 Monday 18th May 2026
⏰ 6PM onwards
Proudly presented by the @rotoruayouthcouncil ✨

After recently being crowned Winner of New Zealand Talent Hunt 2026 – Hamilton, it feels incredibly special to now come home and share this moment with my own community here in Rotorua ♥️🤍🖤

Everything I do through Rotorua HipHop/Dance has always been about creating spaces where rangatahi feel seen, confident, empowered and proud to be themselves - so being apart of an event that celebrates youth talent means so much to me 💫

To every young person out there with a dream, this is your reminder to keep showing up, keep creating and keep believing in yourself even when the journey feels hard 🤍

I can’t wait to share the stage with so many amazing young performers and celebrate the talent, culture and passion within our community 🫶

Thank you to everyone who continues to support me, my kaupapa and our rangatahi - none of this happens alone 💯

To celebrate National Youth Week, our Rotorua HipHop Community Dance Crew will be performing at the Youth Talent Quest this Monday at the Sir Howard Morrison Centre ✨

Our talented rangatahi performers represent:
• Kaitao Intermediate
• Western Heights High School
• Rotorua Girls’ High School

This year’s Youth Week theme, “Our voice matters! We deserve to be heard – Taringa Whakarongo! Te reo o ngā taiohi”perfectly reflects what this event is all about — uplifting and celebrating the voices of our young people across Aotearoa♥️

Tickets are FREE. There are currently technical issues with online ticket releases, so please check the Sir Howard Morrison Centre website or collect tickets at the venue on arrival.

Please follow Rotorua HipHop/Dance Facebook Page or @rotoruayouthcouncil for updates and event details.

Come along and tautoko all the amazing rangatahi preparing to take the stage! by @darceejaygee

Don’t let anyone make you become someone you’re not 🚫
Stay true to yourself, even when it’s not ‘trendy’ ✨

Cause it ain’t where you’re from, it’s where you’re at 💯
