Tomorrow I say goodbye to the best decade of my life. Thank you, 40’s — for 3 high school graduates, 2 amazing son-in-laws, 1 beautiful daughter-in-law, 4 sweet grandbabies, the birth of a company that changed my life, friendships that mean everything, life-changing travels, lots of football, fun awards — the love of my life by my side through it all and always… really, really good food and more than my share of Diet Coke.  Now, 50’s — it’s your turn. Sweet Home Alabama ♥️ 🐘

If you know me at all, you know it’s Faith, Family, Football (and Diet Coke & makeup 😉)

Getting to experience the heart of college football up close, catch up with friends - Kalen and Morgan, meeting new ones, singing Dixieland Delight at the top of my lungs, and receiving the Alabama “red carpet” treatment all weekend long??? Pinch me now!

Things I’ve learned, things I believe, and the principles I try to live by.

It started at the campground, where my parents taught me from a young age to leave the land better than I found it. But watching how they treated others showed me the greater importance of applying that principle to my interactions with people. I strive to leave every person feeling valued, supported, and better than when we met, and to inspire others to do the same.

Another woman’s success doesn’t take anything away from mine. I’ll always choose to cheer her on. I truly want to be your hype girl. Let’s celebrate you!

No job should be beneath me. Cleaning toilets, assisting customer service, packing an order, I’m your girl. I believe that building something you’re proud of means being willing to do whatever needs to be done.

I know how it feels to pour your heart into something and have your efforts go unseen, or have the credit go to someone else, so I never want anyone else to feel overlooked or unappreciated. I’m deeply grateful for the people who believed in me, supported me, and helped me along the way—I didn’t get here alone. And I love to give you credit for that.

Building a business takes too much of your life to build something you don’t believe in. Believe in what you’re creating and you’ll find the people who believe in you.

You can always make more money. It’s just money. The greatest value lies in the everyday opportunities we have to use our hearts, talents, and resources to help others, create meaningful change, and leave the world a little better than we found it.

As a recovering people pleaser, this was a lesson I had to learn: you aren’t for everyone, and that’s okay. When you understand that, you’ll find your tribe.

This too shall pass. Business has highs and lows. I want to stay grounded in the good seasons and remember that hard seasons won’t last forever.

Give more than is expected. The little things matter. I love finding simple ways to make someone feel appreciated, seen, and special.

Money can be made again. Trust is much harder to rebuild. I’ll choose integrity every time.

Define success for YOU. No definition is the same. Success isn’t only measu by @darceywilde

Life is loud. I needed to be still. 
I desperately needed to pause the noise of busy, of decisions, of worries, of my never-ending to-do lists.

I needed to step away from what I’m building long enough to remember the woman who is building it. 
This week I received the gift to be in the most beautiful place surrounded by beautiful friends who build businesses, carry big dreams, and still stop to ask me, “How are you, really?”  
There is something powerful about being with women who share the belief that there is room for all of us to succeed. Women who give you the space to breathe while also inspiring you to keep going.

@cassiecmyers and @capita_financial , your radical generosity, it restored me.  
I’m so grateful for the many women in my life who remind me that none of us were meant to do this alone. Especially grateful for these 8 women, who have become an actual oasis in my life. Who create a place to exhale, be understood, be encouraged, and leave energized for what comes next.  I am so lucky. 🫶🏼 by @darceywilde

Day two in Mexico 🌴✨

Sunshine, poolside relaxation, lots of laughter, and the most fun mocktail class where the ladies mixed, shook, tasted, and created three delicious drinks together. 🍹

The perfect kind of day — nowhere to rush, nothing to worry about, just time to relax, enjoy each other’s company, and soak in the beautiful Mexico sunshine.

And as if the day needed anything more, it ended with the most beautiful rainbow stretching over the ocean just beyond the villa. 🌈🤍

Day one in paradise 🌴☀️

These ladies are settled in, the views are beautiful, the food is delicious, and the laughter has already begun. 🤍

Feeling especially grateful that this is part of my job and even more grateful that I get to do it for not only my boss, but my friend, Cassie. Watching these women laugh, relax, celebrate their friendship, and make memories together is pretty special.
