IT'S OUT!! 'ANGEL OF THE APOCALYPSE' BY THE WONDER DARCIE HAVEN IS OUT NOW EVERYWHERE! I was lucky enough to get to attend the Melbourne Secret Session (where I gave Darcie a print of this poster I made), and I got to hear the entire EP and how they made it. When I tell you I was blown away by the amount of care and intent in making these songs we are so lucky to have. Darcie and Edvard have created something so beautifully real and raw. Happy release day to everyone! - Soph 🪽 by @darciealessiluv

it’s my birthday + a good man release day!! and in honour of darcie’s upcoming debut tour, here is a little montage of the melbourne merch/burner account release pop-up where she performed a set of songs for us!! thank you darcie and grace for this day, there were so many more people who turned up than expected, and they put in so much effort for it to all come together <33 #angeloftheapocalypse #darciehaven #soundsofhaven by @darciealessiluv

to darcie; i have been fortunate enough to have been here since before your first ep, to have been able to see how far you have grown. the friends i have made through your community, and the absolute kindness we all have for each other i will cherish forever. i had been thinking this video up for a while now, and decided this secret little email i got would be the perfect time to finally open up my dusty after effects and put my retired editing skills to use. how lucky am i to have a person like you to look up to. when things were painful, and grief overwhelmed me, you were there. when i was mad at someone, your songs were the perfect dance-around-the-room anthems. the aesthetic and artistic image you and grace have curated (also yes grace ily so much my sydney ross mitchell twin), and the effort you two put into everything is so admirable and inspiring. i was delighted to have gotten to speak so highly and truthfully about you on the radio, to share my love for burner account along with other haveners, it meant so much to me. every zoom has been so lovely, to have gotten to ask you so many questions. meeting you for the first time at the holly show was a dream come true, and the melbourne pop-up was even more amazing. thank you for everything darcie, it means so much more than you can imagine. i cannot wait to see you at the melbourne show, dressed in my darcie hoodie (that gets soo many compliments x) and to sing all of your masterpieces with everyone!! hopefully i’ll see you sooner at perhaps a secret little session 😉. send alaska some love from me! - sophie xo #angeloftheapocalpyse #darciehaven #burneraccount #secretsessions #melbourne by @darciealessiluv
