Nach langer Zeit hab ich es jetzt auch endlich geschafft, ein Best-of-Video von meiner allerersten Drag Performance von der Open Stage von @xeni.slay.ua / @xslay.events zu schneiden.

Ich hatte einfach zu viel Videomaterial, I am sorry what can I do - Everyone wants a piece of me ;)

Ich hoffe, ihr habt Spaß dabei, mir zuzusehen, wie ich meinen Traum lebe, denn ich hab auf jeden Fall viel Spaß dabei :)

Meine erste Drag Queen Performance, mein erster Lip Sync auf der Bühne und definitiv ein Moment, auf den ich lange gewartet habe. Von Drag Makeup, Wig Styling und selbstgenähten Drag Looks bis hin zu Rhinestones, Bühnenoutfit, Choreografie und Performance: ich liebe einfach alles an dieser Kunstart

After starting to do drag in 2017 (almost 10 years ago 😵‍💫), I never had the courage to actually go on stage. I was never “perfect” or ready enough, always finding something wrong with my makeup, my looks etc.

Seeing this reaction from my very first ever performance this year honestly makes me realize that I am right where I belong :)

Dreams don’t run away from you. You can always try, no matter how long it takes. Don’t convince yourself that you’re too old or that you’ve missed your chance. You never have to give up on something just because it didn’t happen when you first imagined it.

Thank you @xeni.slay.ua / @xslay.events for making this long-in-the-making dream finally come true, and thank you to all my friends who always support me and screamed until their lungs fell out that day hahhah. I am very grateful to have you

Here another look back at my drag queen lip sync perfomance at @divine.essen / @xslay.events last saturday.

This time in full HD (finally) and you can see all these f*ckn rhinestones in the zoom in, for which I have spent the whole week gluing them on hahahha 😮‍💨

also i wanted to showcase how many stupid effects i can put in one video i guess hahahah have fun watching 😝

Want to make a glamorous drag boa without spending hundreds of dollars on a feather boa?

In this tutorial, I show you step by step how to make your own fluffy tulle boa for drag performances, lip syncs, stage shows, theatre, burlesque, cosplay, photoshoots or any glamorous performance costume.

My measurements

- Rope length: 4.5 m
- Tulle used: 12 rolls (1 yard each = 12 yards total)
- Wraps around the book: 20

How to calculate how much tulle you’ll need:

Book circumference × Number of wraps × Rope length = Total amount of tulle

This lets you easily adjust the amount depending on the length of your boa, the size of your book and how full you want it to be.

I highly recommend making one sample before buying lots of tulle. Different book sizes create different strand lengths, and changing the number of wraps will also change the final look and fullness of your boa.

I bought my tulle online, and personally I wouldn’t spend more than €5–6 per roll. Prices vary a lot, but the quality is often very similar, so it’s worth comparing different sellers before buying.

A look back at my very first drag lip sync performance 😍

It was such an incredible experience, and I’m so grateful to everyone who made it possible.

Big thanks to the audience for all the love and support, @xeni.slay.ua for being such a great host and organizer, and to the other performers @its_your_supernova, @frenchkiss_xoxo, @sarah_the_hutt and @yurayurkin for making this such a great show.
