To a journey that was fueled by God and supported by love. As I crossed the stage on May 22, 2025, I visualized every step that brought me to this moment— Every step, delay, and breakthrough was guided by his hand and covered by His grace.

Thank you to my family and friends for every encouraging word, check-in calls, and prayer carried me through the moments I felt like giving up. You believed in me even when I doubted myself, and for that, I will always be grateful.

Thank you Southern for feeling like home, to the friendships, the lessons, and the late-night laughs—Southern, you’ve given me memories that will last a lifetime, and no matter where life takes me, you’ll always be part of me.

Degree secured. Appetite for success? Still starving.

To the sport that has guided me, motivated me, and molded me into the person I am today, despite all the hamstring injury setbacks I’ve faced, I thank God for keeping me in love with you. It’s been 11 long years since I became a track athlete, and I knew sooner than later I would have to say goodbye.

To my team, I thank you for allowing me to be your captain for the past 2 years. As I watched this team grow, you all helped me grow as well.
Thank you for the many laughs, rant sessions, and making every workout day worthwhile. It’s been a pleasure being your captain, and thank you for being my extended family for the past 5 years. If I could do it all over again, I wouldn’t have chosen any other team to be a part of.

To my coaches, thank you for the many life lessons on and off the track. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to showcase what it means to be a Lady Owl, and thank you for taking a chance on little Dardi who just always wanted to sprint. 💙 SSSSCCCCC-SSSUUUUU #5thyearout by @dardiielle
