Last night was a dream come true. My songs. Covers I love. And a room full of people I love even more.

It was manifestation at its finest. Turning thoughts into things. Taking something that once existed only in my imagination and bringing it to life. It would be easy to say this was a year in the making, but the truth is, it was 19 years in the making. Nineteen years of dreaming, growing, learning, and finding my way back to something I’ve always loved.

I’m incredibly grateful to @thevanguard757 for believing in me and giving me a shot. To @tagatling, @emilybchristopher, @bigtorrin, and @darealemfra, thank you for saying yes, sharing your talents, and kicking off the night in a way that only you could. Big thanks to my band: @stationtostagemusic, @em_domi, @paulwarren2453, @holddamayo5, @bigtorrin, @emilybchristopher, and @alyssa__aponte, for making me sound much better than I actually am. And of course big thanks to @larryenscore for MC’ing the event!

And to every single person who showed up, sang along, cheered, supported me, or simply believed this was possible, thank you. You helped turn a dream I’ve carried for nearly two decades into a memory I’ll carry for the rest of my life.

Last night was truly incredible. My heart is overflowing with gratitude, and I can’t help but feel like this is only the beginning. by @darealemfra

Still learning to love her and all her colors 🌈 self love is a journey, and sometimes the people you think might be the most confident are actually the most insecure! I have been dedicated to building my confidence and I celebrate the small wins as I slowly shed the doubts and insecurities 💗

A little bit of my @boldjourneymag feature!

“I think I stood out initially because I entered the chat with a bang and a story. I released my first single titled “Controller” which was about leaving a terrible 360 deal with a shady producer and taking back my identity. That song was first aired on radio in LA all because my cover art caught the attention of a host. The song was basically a demo I produced that a much better producer built on top of, it was the first time I felt like I was making an authentic statement. With the help of my friends, and basically no budget, we shot a music video with full choreography, edited it ourselves and put it out to a great response! Controller wasn’t just a song, it was a moment. It was the beginning of my own artistic journey of developing my identity as an artist and also letting everyone know I would never give that up again.”

Shoutout @astromandj for producing “Controller” & @goatheadrecords for empowering me to start my music career ❤️ by @darealemfra

July had some major highs & lows, such is life I guess. I lost my girl Harley, the momma of my two pups. I’m grateful for the time we had with her beautiful soul and I’ll always be thankful that she gave me my two puppies and I see her in them every day. It’s funny how an animal can be such a comfort and true friend, I will really miss her so much. This summer taught me a lot about myself and who I want to be and who I don’t want to be. I’m doing a little rearranging in life, I may be a grown woman but I don’t have it all figured out that’s for sure. Hoping August is kinder and looking forward to a much needed break from being on stage.
-Em

Shoutout to my boy G.Edmonds on the song pinned to this! I did some backing vocals for it and this song really comforted me during my trials this month ❤️

She was the best dog ❤️ I found out she was hit by a car moments before getting on stage for an event. So yeah. I need a break.

I managed to learn screen printing, create a jewelry line, and a whole one of a kind t shirt line in July. Results coming…oh yea also shot a music video but that’s on the low low til I’m ready..

She loved to swim ! Her pups will not touch water haha

Family time ❤️

If you are handling resin, wear a mask or you will get poisoned and be sick for 2 weeks like me!
