I’m not on social media much these days, but this is very important and involves someone very near and dear to me and so many others. @lily.xoxo.hello is one of the kindest people I’ve ever met and she recently got some terrible news and is now battling cancer. @thejennievee set up a gofundme, so others could lend support while she goes through treatment.

Here’s just one story about Lily’s giant heart and kindness:
Right before the pandemic happened, in Feb 2020, I had just moved to LA from NYC, and I left my kitty @licensetopurr temporarily with my parents in MD, as @davidjhaskins and I were set to go on an extensive tour with Bauhaus soon thereafter, and we didn’t want to leave him with a cat sitter in a strange new place alone while we immediately jetted off for months, and we were planning on retrieving him once the tour wrapped.

Then suddenly the world shut down, and I had no easy way of retrieving Mr. Bond for the foreseeable future…

Lily, who works as a flight attendant, out of the blue, offered to meet with my parents (masked and distanced) to pickup Bond and bring him to us!! She even got him first class accommodations on the flight!

She’s been such a wonderful person to so many of us, and now she needs our support!

I haven’t used IG in so long I don’t even recognize the filters!! Anyway, I’ll eventually post about my other recent travels (I’m lazy with social media, so if you’re curious just look at the photos I’ve been tagged in 😂) , but for now, @davidjhaskins and I are about to depart for a week in NYC for the @tribecafilmfestival.

Anyone who knows me well, knows I have a “problem” with sour skittles so I’ve forced myself to only have them on travel days, though it’s not helping that I’ve been traveling so much lately!

Don’t worry, they’re for the flight, not to accompany the old fashioned…😂 taken in Delta Sky Club LAX Terminal 3 by @darenzia
