my debut EP ‘June’ is now yours! 🪞🍃🪷

June has always brought me joy and fulfilment. It evokes a sense of warmth and renewal, holding the promise of innocent dreams and endless beginnings. It will always be a safe space for me, serving as a reminder that even though life can get difficult sometimes, I can always draw on my memories of June to find solace and brighter days. This EP captures, in essence, the June of my life, a time of innocence and self-discovery, poured into these 5 little tracks that have grown to mean the world to me.

So what does June mean to you? 💌

I am immensely grateful to everyone who has been supporting this project for years now. A huge thank you to @andyhorjea who has brought these tracks to life in ways I couldn’t even imagine.

thank you to @rigley.alex for bringing ‘Greenfield Street’ and ‘June Can’t Last Forever’ to life with the most wonderful arrangement, and thank you to @elepiaproductions for all the creativity and joy she brought to the artworks of the tracks.

P.S: if you’re unsure why I released an EP called ‘June’ in September, it’s because I think we often appreciate the true value of things in hindsight x

I hope you love it 🤍🌸

Part of Me is out now 🌻🌱💌

I wrote Part of Me as a journaling exercise while sitting in my garden, watching the leaves of a tree sway in the wind. Pouring my thoughts onto paper helped quiet my mind, and before I knew it, I found myself writing about that tree. The way its branches moved, the shape of its trunk, the crisp sound of its leaves, and the sense of calm it gave me.

Without realizing it, I became present. That feeling stayed with me, and somewhere along the way, the notes in my journal turned into a song.

Life gets busy, and it’s so easy to spend more time living in tomorrow than in today. We worry about the future until we lose the peace that’s right in front of us.

Part of Me is my reminder to slow down and be present, even though I know that’s easier said than done. It’s also my way of thanking the tree in my garden for saving me from my own thoughts more times than I can count.

In its own quiet way, it became a part of me.

I hope this song gives you a small piece of the peace it gave me.

As always, thank you to the wonderful people without whom my art would not exist in this form.
