Evening gown round at @missuniversegb 💫. I wanted a dress that speaks softness, femininity and timeless elegance. I wanted it to feel light and project movement almost like a dress dancing on its own💖.

Since I made one of the top 5 I had to answer an on stage question.

The question we got was about cyber bullying; where do we draw a line when it comes to harmful behaviour and what would I do as a titleholder if I witnessed cyberbullying.

My answer:
As a former secondary school teacher I dealt with bullying sometimes more than teaching the subject.
The first part of the question is ‘where do we draw a line?’. We don’t need to draw a line. The line is already drawn: the answer is 0 tolerance to harmful behaviour and it is harmful as soon as we question the intention.
The second part of the question is ‘what would I do as a titleholder if I witnessed bullying’. Firstly, we check on the victim, we comfort them, of course. Then, we if we really care about solving the problem, we check on the bully too. We need to know the root cause of their behaviour. Maybe someone else is doing this to them. Maybe they have a low self-esteem and need a bit of uplifting. Or maybe they need some strategies to channel their emotional outbursts.
The solution might be simple. We don’t have to respond with negativity towards negativity. We can respond with positivity.
Thank you❤️
