For the first time, I let myself be seen.

I wasn’t trying to be perfect. Just honest.
I was simply telling my story through the beautiful choreography by @emma4752

At that moment, I didn’t really know the song.
I didn’t understand its words.
I only felt them.

I chose not to search for the meaning afterwards.
I stayed in the room, watched the others dance, and let myself remain inside that moment.

Less than 24 hours later, my life changed.

And only now, listening to the whole song and finally understanding its meaning, I realise how much my body already knew before my mind did.

Looking back, I don’t see perfection.
I see honesty.
I see vulnerability.
I see the beginning of shedding an old skin.

I didn’t choose the circumstances.
But I choose who I become as I walk through them.

Some moments become memories.
Some become turning points.

This one became both🤍

My very first High Heels solo.
My very first choreography.

I faced so many doubts while creating this piece, but I’m incredibly grateful I gave myself the chance to step on that stage.

I poured so much of myself into these two minutes, and that moment meant more to me than I can put into words.

No matter the result, creating this piece and performing it was already a victory for me🤍

And winning 1st place was the most beautiful bonus I could have asked for🥹🥇

Thank you to everyone who believed in me and supported me along the way.

A special thank you to @vilni_fest for giving dancers a stage to grow, perform and share their art😌

Fuerteventura surprised me more than I expected..

One of the oldest Canary Islands, shaped by volcanoes, wind and the Atlantic Ocean.
Dunes, ancient craters, wild coasts and natural volcanic pools — raw, minimal and incredibly beautiful 🌋🌊

Big thanks to our guide @vic_xvicrok
for showing us this incredible side of the island. by @darinazinova
