Today we release a song that, in one form or another, has been part of our lives for more than six years… possibly longer.

It started as a guitar riff that refused to go away.

Through lineup changes, hundreds of shows, long drives, voice memos, rehearsals, and some lyrical rewrites, it kept hanging around. It actually took on a new life last year when we started reworking the bridge and experimenting with the arrangement.

Some things just need time.

“Nowhere to Run” was born before the uncertainty of 2020, but it feels more like a reflection of who we became in the years that followed.

It captures some of the harmony-driven spirit that inspired us growing up, while carrying the grit and weight that felt important to the story we were trying to tell.

This song is about carrying too much for too long. The emotional debt we accumulate. The sacrifices we make. The parts of ourselves we lose while trying to keep everything else together.

And ultimately, it’s about finding your way back.

No big speech today.

Just gratitude.
