Today marks 24 years without you dad. This August 2nd felt like another saturday which is scary because i don’t ever wanna get numb to it. So to make sure of that i wanted to write you a letter. Throughout the years, I learned to ride a bike, talk to girls, buy a car and a house, graduate college, and work out. I even have multiple incomes just like you did. I’d like to think i’d impress you but hearing how everyone who knew you talks about you, i’d still be chasing your shadow. Kenneth Drew. Man I wish you were here to see your legacy in your children and see the things we’ve done. You’d have that huge smile and wouldn’t hear nothing from nobody about yours. We all miss you. Everyday. I’m taking care of momma the best i can lol. Daddy if i could, I’d give every dollar i’ve ever made to come get you and go for a night drive one more time.
