Just like the N400 Anchor this unit comes packed with features to over secure your tailgate from thieves
.
Like Hinge abandonment security bolts that secure the hinges on both sides commonly unbolted leaving anti theft devices behind
.
And security Torx bolts preventing taillight theft as well

Golden Coast Overlanders. We run an engineering studio out of Los Angeles focused strictly on premium precision-machined Toyota hardware.

For the last month, our TG Anchor System has been out in the wild proving itself with our core community.
We are now opening up strategic allocations for established YouTube creators documenting their 4th Gen Tacoma builds.

We know people are already tracking the tailgate vulnerabilities on these trucks. Instead of a basic bracket, we engineered a complete anchor system milled from solid 3/4” 6061-T6 billet aluminum. It utilizes stainless blind bolts, pry-resistant raised walls, and hinge abandonment hardware to completely eliminate grip and pry points. We also include anti-bypass taillight bolts to lock down the entire assembly.

The Builder Allocation:
We are currently running both V1 (manual tailgate) and V2 (power tailgate) units. We are looking to partner with established channels (minimum 1,000 subs). In exchange for an honest install and review segment on your current build series, we will allocate and ship you a complimentary system to run on your rig.🤙🏼 by @dark_engineers_technology

We started Golden Coast Overlanders with the objective building overlanding equipment that picks up where the heavy industrial era left off. No stamped sheet metal, no plastic covers, and absolutely zero compromises.

We looked at the current landscape of truck accessories and wanted to bring a premium, raw, mechanical heritage back to the market.

It’s an aesthetic built on mechanical necessity—heavy metal, exposed hardware, and visible machining lines.
When it bolts to your rig, it should look and function like a component meant for a piece of heavy machinery.

We machine our parts from solid blocks of 6061-T6 aluminum.

Form Follows Function: We don’t hide the manufacturing process. We leave the CNC tool paths visible, laser-mark the bare metal, and use stainless steel hardware.

Over-Engineered: Every cut we make on the mill is designed to solve a specific physical problem and outlast the truck it’s bolted to.

We aren’t mass-producing cheap accessories. We are machining serious, functional hardware for rigs that actually see the dirt.

N400 engineering breakdown.⬇️

Most aftermarket brackets only secure the truck side, allowing thieves to simply unbolt your tailgate hinges and walk away with your shell. The N400 Anchor System includes 18-8 Stainless Security Torx hardware to replace your OEM hinge bolts, neutralizing the “hinge abandonment” bypass.

Welcome to Golden Coast Overlanders. We are officially open for business.
A massive thank you to everyone on the waitlist who claimed their early allocations yesterday. Today, our flagship release—the 4th Gen Tacoma (N400) Tailgate Anchor system is live for the public.
When we started this project, our goal was simple: to over-engineer a security solution for the N400 platform. No shortcuts, just intentional, thought-through design. Proudly machined, laser-marked, and packaged in California.
The Details:
• 3/4” Solid 6061-T6 Billet Aluminum
• Recessed blind carriage bolt design (anti-pry/anti-grip)
• Stainless Steel Security Hardware
• Security Torx bolts
• German-engineered ABUS Titalium Padlock
Batch 001 is actively in production. We are keeping this initial run to small production numbers so we can personally ensure the quality control is exactly where it needs to be.

V1 Waitlist is Officially Open. 📐

We’ve spent the last few weeks in the studio iterating, testing, and engineering a bespoke Tailgate Anchor System for the 4th Gen Tacoma (N400). Swipe through the process from CAD to finished metal.

Designed for those looking for a premium, OEM+ aesthetic, we are machining these in-house out of solid 6061-T6 billet aluminum. Paired with 18-8 stainless hardware and a German-engineered Abus lock, this is a comprehensive, heavy-duty security solution built to match the fit and finish of rigs like the TRD Pros and Trailhunters.

We prioritize QC over mass production, so Batch 1 will be a strictly limited run.

Making progress. Going through some last revisions. A look at the active machining of the new tailgate lock. This phase is all about refining the manufacturing process on the Tormach 770, making sure the billet parts are consistent and the fitment is precise. We want to ensure the quality is sorted before we release the first batch. 🤙🏼🔩
