Models and metal seems to be what’s occurring here, maybe some food and booze too. London.

The model totally comes alive when the boys are added. Tricky to photo. Got to sort the base out. I missed painting the drivers knees, which is unnoticeable but annoying. These chariots and war machines are pretty much dioramas, there's a lot of work. Looking forward to having them done. #warhammertheoldworld #warhammerpainting #warhammercommunity #warhammerconversions #warhammercomunity by @dark_future_85

Chariots. These are slowly bringing me joy. After I've finished them, I will have done five chariots this year. They are hard work. Lots of different components that need to be painted before being built. I still have another 3 to go. I'm getting through a backlog at the mo and really looking forward to seeing it all die on turn one when I get them to the table:) #warhammertheoldworld #warhammerpainting #warhammerfantasy #warhammercommunity #warhammergoblins by @dark_future_85

Pretty sure this guy is early 90s blood bowl. He's one of the rare survivors of my childhood collection. It was good to finally put some paint on him. I'll probably give him large stupid base and make a nob or warboss:) I think it says 'cybork' on his base:) #warhammer40korks #warhammerpainting #warhammer40000 #bloodbowlpainting #oldhammer by @dark_future_85

These are my gyrocopter proxies. I did the bases ages ago and it's been bugging me to get them finished. I just slapped some paint on in the end. The 4th one is a character model, pretty crap. I could have had three more basic dudes for the cost of him and they are pretty much exactly the same size. Very annoying. I'm a sucker though and I still keep thinking about the character in the top hat, he looks a bit bigger... #warhammertheoldworld #warhammerpainting #warhammercommunity #warhammerdwarfs by @dark_future_85

Got some skin tone on these chaps. The ugly phase took a long time. #warhammer40korks #warhammerpainting #warhammercommunity #warhammer40000 by @dark_future_85

Size comparison for you. The build on the new boys is awful. I had to trim most of the push together parts just so they fit. It might have been better to just cut them all off. So, I'm planning to batch paint these four starting with skin tones. The 3rd pic shows all the paints I'll use for the skin tones, hopefully. They do go real ugly just before they start looking good. #warhammer40korks #warhammer40000 #warhammerpainting #warhammercommunity by @dark_future_85

My Mrs mum is an antique dealer. She found me these chaps boxed and cellophaned. I need to fill up their transfers but they are table ready now. An absolutely awesome Ork army in the making. #warhammertheoldworld #warhammer40korks #warhammerfantasy #warhammerpainting #warhammercommunity by @dark_future_85

I didn't think I needed more boys. This had a great discount on element games. Think I've got 100 boys now:) 2 characters, 20 orks, 10 grots, a vehicle, 10 paints a brush and a modeling/basing tool (I've been using bits of spru). This is awesome. If it wasn't raining, I'd be undercoating them already. #warhammer40korks #warhammer40000 #warhammercommunity by @dark_future_85

I've had a lot of messages from you lot saying 'hey, dark future, what ever happened to that horrific finecast beastmen chariot that you bought and were so horrifically disappointed with?' and until now it sat around in a small baggy in a drawer. I was very close to just throwing it out at one point.but then I realised I could convert it into an ork boss on chariot and use him in old world. Very happy with how this is going so far:) #warhammertheoldworld #warhammercommunity #warhammertheoldworld by @dark_future_85
