We’ve restarted the @firstandlanderfilm content rollout while we keep our heads down editing the feature, and before anything else I wanted to say thank you.

To everyone who’s liked a post, shared it with a friend, left a comment, donated, or bought a shirt — you’ve carried this further than you know. And to the crew — the ones who showed up on the hottest days of the summer and again with snow on the ground. You gave this thing your time when there was nothing to show for it yet. This has always been a labor of love, for this city and for this story, and none of it is possible without the people who believe in it.

When @dark_side_continuous and I first met in the fall of 2021, I told him this might take ten years to make. Then we laid out a plan and committed to doing it right. We’re coming up on year five now, and I’d say we’re right on target. What we’re building is something special — a way to honor the history, and the people who make Newburgh, Newburgh — the ones out there every single day working to make it a better place to live than it was yesterday.
