HAPPY RELEASE DAY @lilyfay_writes

I’m so so proud of you and so happy that your baby is finally out for the world to read and dive into 🩵🫶🏼
I had the honour to read Under pre-release as an ARC but didn’t have the time for an review yet. What better time than posting a review of my favourite read this year (and 99% my top read 2026) on my birthday 🎂

I’ll be honest up front, at first I was scared to start the book because mainly English isn’t my first language and I was worried that I wouldn’t understand everything but I was pleasantly surprised in what flow I got with this book. Every line had me hooked, I couldn’t put it away and I was mesmerised by the writing style.
This sapphic, dark academia story is about grief, loss, trauma and a variety of other topics that had me under a spell. Veronica and Aurelia have a special spot in my heart and I can’t wait what their future will hold for secrets to unfold.

This was an ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ read for me and if you haven’t grabbed a copy yet you definitely should!!

🩵 Tropes 🩵
• Found family
• Hurt x Comfort
• Reluctant allies
• sapphic romance
• slow burn
• murder mystery
• hate to love
• yearn for me
• forced proximity
• Angst
• Academic setting
• Witty banter
• Victorian Era aesthetic
• pessimist x optimist
• Grief & Loss
• Poetic Spice
• Mental Health rep
• Dark secrets

I can’t express how much this book and characters mean to me, this book really got me out of my reading slump this year.
I cannot wait to hold Savage in my hands and devour it like I did with Sadist ✨

My review:

• obsession
• sapphic dark romance
• morally grey fmc
• sadistic contract killer

🚨OKAY BUT LISTEN - WE'VE BEEN TRUSTED WITH
SOMETHING BIG🚨

As a reader and supporter, we feel honored to say we've
just been let in on the next chapter of this author's
journey - and this is early knowledge 👀🤍

We all thought we knew what was coming...

For a while now, HINDSIGHT has been the next
release...
But turns out? That story was too big, too deep, and
too emotionally loaded to be just one book. After a
HUGE (and clearly not easy) decision, it's officially
been expanded into a DUET so it can get the justice it
deserves.
Which means, yes - there is now a duet title, so we
can scream about it as a whole instead of Book 1
and Book 2.

🔥INTRODUCING:

🦋 THE SHACKLED HEARTS DUET 🦋

📖 BOOK 1 - S _ _ _ _ _
📖 BOOK 2 - HINDSIGHT

We are not okay.
We are ready.
And we will be thinking about The Shackled Hearts Duet until further notice 🦋🔥

Strap in, buckle up and get ready for this SURPRISE.

Our favourite girl @shassiiwrites decided to not only give us one new book but a whole duet 📖🙏🏼

Get your tissues ready, get a full stock of supplies to comfort you because we all know it’ll be an emotional rollercoaster for each and every one of us.
Instead of giving us just Hindsight she decided to give the book a whole lot more of input and give the characters more room and space to tell the whole story 🩶

Obviously it’s gonna be sapphic again, emotional and with a lot of trauma.

This book absolutely stole my heart. Pitty is one of those stories that sneak up on you - sweet, emotional and surprisingly deep. It’s not just a romance, it’s about healing, second chances and seeing past the labels people and dogs get stuck with. 📖🐶

The way @ink.inwords writes this journey from Ezekiel, Rosemary and all those dogs made me smile, tear up and hug my dog a little tighter. The romance feels warm and genuine, never forced, and it pairs perfectly with the message about love, trust and patience ❤️‍🩹

If you’re a dog lover, a sucker for heartfelt romances or just want a feel-good read with emotional depth: THIS one is 100% worth picking up 🐾🩶

This book hurt me, healed me and then left me staring at the wall when it was over.

Collateral Damage by @shassiiwrites is one of those books that quietly sneak into your heart and then completely shatters it in the most beautiful way. This story is raw, emotional and painfully real. It doesn't shy away from the messiness of love, trauma and the ripple effects our choices leave behind. That's what makes this book so powerful.

This book will forever be in my top reads and a special place in my heart 🌻 We are all just Little Dreamers.

This book ruined my morals, my sleep, and my standards, and I’d do it again…. I genuinely closed the book and stared at the wall for 10 minutes. I’m hooked and I always will be. The author @authorscarlette is absolutely talented 🖤
