This is a quick easy read. . It will have you hooked as soon as you start the book. This is book 3 in the series but can be read as a standalone but you will definitely want to read the whole series. This book about a single mother just trying to do her best to prove to everyone including her family she is capable of doing everything without their help. Unfortunately while doing this she ends up having to find herself coming up with alot of money for home repairs. Thats when her boss who secretly likes her but also knows he needs her to not quit his coffee shop steps in to help. From there the story unravels a beautiful love story. I did tear up in some parts. But this book has a HEA. This is a quick easy read. The main characters at first are Mavix “Vix” and Austin “Aussy” it begins with their story as children and unfortunately they are separated which they never thought would have to happen. Then years later they are reconnected by somewhat fate at college. Vix roommate becomes her best friend and her brother is Aussy’s roommate and best friend. They have final been reconnected but things are a little different this time. I do want to warn you this is NOT a happily ever after and leaves you heartbroken and on a cliff hanger. I am hoping the 2nd book will redeem the story and there will be one. Just be warned all good things come to an end and leave you as but why? I think you should definitely read these books in order to follow along how we have come to where Austin is at in his life. Any book by @veetaylorauthor will suck you in and make you not want to put the book down and leave you wanting to read more.
