My track “Centrino”, originally released on Biotech Recordings back in 2014, has picked up 81 streams over the last 28 days.

Not bad at all for a track that’s now 12 years old!

It’s always great to see people discovering older tracks for the first time. Music doesn’t have an expiry date — and it’s brilliant to see Centrino still finding new listeners all these years later. by @darkmodeuk

I’d like to wish my dad a very happy 80th birthday today. ❤️

I learned so much from my dad when I was growing up in the 80s. When I was struggling with reading at first school, Dad would sit me down every night when he came home from work and patiently teach me how to read. With his help, I eventually went from struggling to being top of my reading class at both first school and middle school.

He also taught me how to ride a bike in the car park outside my local youth club, how to tell the time and how to tie my shoelaces. They might seem like simple things, but they were important lessons that stayed with me.

Looking back, I realise just how much patience, encouragement and knowledge my dad gave me throughout my childhood.

A parent really is a child's first and best teacher.

Happy 80th Birthday, Dad. ❤️ Thank you for everything you taught me and for always believing in me. 🎂🎉 by @darkmodeuk

Seeing comments like this reminds me why I started making music in the first place.

Knowing that someone has been listening to my music for the last year is genuinely inspiring. Every track released on various labels including Biotech Recordings is made with passion, and support like this makes all the hard work worthwhile.

Keep believing in your own sound, stay true to yourself, and never stop creating. 🙏🎶 by @darkmodeuk

A nice memory to look back on from 2020.

I posted this to encourage artists who were struggling with self-doubt, and then Maceo Plex replied saying he loved my tracks on @biotech_recordings and Bass Agenda. It was a reminder that you never know who is listening to your music.

To every producer doubting themselves: keep creating. Your work matters to someone. by @darkmodeuk

This one means a lot to me.

Over 21 years ago this record was released in Newcastle with nothing but passion, hard work, and a belief in my own sound. Seeing someone rediscover it years later is proof that genuine music can outlive trends.

Stay true to your vision, pay your dues, and never underestimate the legacy you're building. Some records don't just survive—they inspire. by @darkmodeuk
