What once was a vibrant cultural hub for London’s nightlife and creative industry, a seedy Mecca for queers, hookers, and creatives, has now become a commercial fairground catering to tourists and faddists. While the process of gentrification is arguably inevitable, active efforts of Westminster council to transform this iconic area pose the question: Do we value profit over culture?

FREEDOM OF EXHAUSTION

Acceleration to nowhere - run or d*e! the only thing you have is freedom - a firearm loaded with the modern dream - what’s it worth? is it earned or owed? shoot before you’re shot! fight for freedom! fight the free! k*ll the dream! feed the beast!

You are free to think! to speak! to live! to die! to pray! to hate! to work! to trade! but are you? are you free? are you free from fear? free from hope? from sin? from faith? free from control? the caged bird sings - reticence is a prison - but a free man insists on silence.

Trust no one - you are born to compete - the endless fight of kin and foe - compete for survival! compete for the soil! compete for the surplus! reject the natural! worship the artificial! where do you really belong? watch them rot! ignore their screams! is this the sound of victory?

Don’t nurse your body! it’s a mere machine - use it! f**k it! sell it! drug it! far more lucrative is your mind - self sufficient and trained to crave, conditioned to consume. earn more! spend more! take more! lose more! you will never get enough! consume or be consumed - who’s really in control?
