💧 If nature calls during the dive, then it does. (Just make sure your pee valve is properly installed and functional!) 🍌 I don’t care what diet you follow — as long as you’re fueled and focused. Low energy = poor decisions. Bring real food, not just a granola bar. ⚙️ I don’t care what brand your gear is. I do care if it leaks, is missing bolts, or looks like it was assembled by a toddler. 🤓 Ask a ton of questions — as long as we stay in the “game” and not drift into storytime about your first Open Water dive. 🧭 If you can’t remember your left from your right when we’re lost in a silt-out… we have bigger problems. 🧠 “Trust me, I know what I’m doing” doesn’t count if you can’t explain why you’re doing it. 💸 Build your fundamental skills first — otherwise you’ll stay practicing in open water while your money goes cave diving. 📸 Leave the GoPro until you can handle your trim. You’re not making a National Geographic special (yet). 🪨 The cave doesn’t care about your confidence. It only cares about your skills, discipline, and gas management. 🤝 I’m not here to impress you — I’m here to help you grow as a diver. The sooner you accept that, the more fun we’ll have. The formation of the infamous Bell-shaped speleothems in Cenote Zapote is influenced by a variety of factors, including water temperature, pH, and the presence of organic matter in the water. The unique geological and hydrological conditions of the Yucatan Peninsula, including the presence of an extensive underground river system, have contributed to the formation of these and other unique speleothems found in the area.
