So we did have our first game of #burrowsandbadgers. Not part of the campaign to come, I was trying to get a grasp on the rules (remembering the first ed ones and trying not to mistake them with the second ed ones) and introducing them to my opponent at the same time. We didn’t have enough time to finish, but we managed to have a good time and actualy played (we lost some time on generating Laurent’s warband).

To play #burrowsandbadgers you need three objective markers. Here are mine. The ten Loot Markers are needed to play the main quest The Caravan (they are from #greenstuffworld ), and the treasure chest (#greenstuffworld as well) will make a perfect paychest for the mainquest … The Paychest!

And the last one of the painted batch : Weeka Telaga, Racoon Huntress, a free lancer (mercenary). I’m not planning on hiring her for the moment, but I’m planning on using the mini as the Road Warden in the A Dangerous Journey main quest.

Miss Rabbit. Hard to fit in some warband, but I just love this mini. She will be perfect to play the runaway in the main quest pf the same name…

A new reinforcement for the Highwaybeasts of Dartmoor’s Heath. A sneaky weasel, oh yes! For the moment, he will be a perfect thief for the thief-taker main quest.

Also finaly finished this one I bought at Salute 50. It should join my Highwaybeasts of Datmoor’s Heath warband as Mr Lovegrove, a devious Myrce illusionnist. In the meantime, he will work perfectly as a mage in the Witch Hunt main quest… The terrain is a bonus.

And these are the reinforcements. In #burrowsandbadgers you start your warband with a limited amount of pennies to recruit the members. But after a while, wether you lose or win, you find new equipments along the way, and earn more pennies, which allows you to hire new members. These two will be the new recruits. by @darkvernonpea

Horace Yarrow of Rawcliffe is the captain of a mercenary compagny. Sir William recruited him for his martial skills but always keep an eye close on him, since he’s not sure if the dog of war would remain loyal if the enemies of the warband were to offer him a significant amount of gold…

Gustave Champignon of the Alpine Realms is a barbarian from across the sea. He has absolutely no interest in the royal family of Northymbra. He just loves to fight and is here for the scrap. Sir William promised him some. That’s all that matters to this marmot! by @darkvernonpea

Second of the warband is Brother Friar Midge Peppercorn, worshipper of Moritasgus. He is a bit out of touch of reality, but he can work miracles. He looks like he has the ear of Moritasgus the Great Badger Himself…
