A little English cottage charm for the Thanksgiving table this year! 🤎

I mixed block-print linens, vintage floral patterns, and warm autumn colors. There’s something so beautiful about layering different prints and textures to create a table that feels collected, cozy, and timeless! I also made these cute pumpkins—hot glued dried florals on the top of the pumpkins. Perfect to use for name placements or take away.

🍂 Comment “TABLE” for all the details and sources to recreate this Thanksgiving tablescape!

Going batty for Halloween! 🦇🎃🖤

Our little bat is ready for a night of tricks, treats, and maybe a few extra dog treats! 🐾👻

Happy Halloween!

Checking out all the spooky stoops on the Upper East Side! 🎃👻 I’m always so impressed by all the creativity!

If you’re local, definitely take a stroll this weekend! These stoops are located on East 78th Street, starting at 2nd Avenue and then heading toward the Park.

There are so many other halloween-decorated streets to explore on the Upper West Side, in the West Village, and in Park Slope. NYC really knows how to do Halloween! 🖤🕸️ by @darleenmeier

A little more Halloween around the house! 🎃🖤

I actually tried to keep the Halloween decorations somewhat under control this year and didn’t pull everything out. But after a few complaints from family members that the house wasn’t Halloween-y enough, I gave in and brought out more! 😂

Apparently, there’s no such thing as too much Halloween in this house! 👻🕸️

Locals—Looking for a day trip to take in the beautiful fall foliage?

Mohonk Mountain House in New Paltz, NY, is one of the most beautiful places to visit in the Hudson Valley, especially this time of year! 🍂 🍁

Just about two hours from Fairfield County and NYC, this historic resort is surrounded by gorgeous hiking trails, breathtaking views, and some of the prettiest fall colors.

We purchased a hiking day pass to explore the property’s trails, but you can also book lunch reservations or make a weekend of it with an all-inclusive overnight stay.

One tip: Make your lunch reservations early! They were completely booked when we visited.

Definitely a fall bucket list destination worth visiting!

A little spooky, a little chic. 🖤🎃

Halloween has officially made its way around the house! I love mixing in a few spooky touches with my everyday decor—keeping things elevated, a little moody, and just the right amount of haunting.

Who says Halloween can’t be sophisticated? 👻🕯️

The hunt for the perfect pumpkin 🎃🍂

What can we say…it’s a family tradition. We’ve been going to the pumpkin patch since my kids were little, and it’s one of those family traditions we keep coming back to every fall. We hunt for the one and it must come straight from the patch. No pre-picked pumpkins for us. 😂 Although, as you can see, actually getting it off the vine is sometimes another story.

A little silly, a little nostalgic, and one of our favorite fall traditions. 🎃🤎

We do Halloween. 🎃👻🖤

A little spooky, a little fun, and always a reason to decorate. Sharing a few of my favorite Halloween moments from around the house over the years.

Because around here, we don’t just do fall and Christmas…we also do Halloween. 🕷️🕯️🎃

London outfit roundup 🇬🇧✨

One suede jacket that somehow made its way into almost every outfit and carried me through a very long weekend of traveling, walking, exploring and eating our way through London.

Was it too warm for the trench coat? Yes. Did I bring it anyway? Also yes. Because… it’s London. You have to bring the trench. 😂

A few layers, comfortable shoes and pieces that could go from sightseeing to dinner made packing easy. And apparently, a suede jacket really does go with everything.

London called… the sisters answered. ☎️🇬🇧✨

Celebrating another birthday around the world with my sister in London! 🇬🇧❤️ Lots of laughs, lots of exploring, and memories made. Love being silly together.

My favorite way to decorate the porch for fall? Start with the plants. 🍂

I love filling my pots with all the colors and textures of fall. Then when October hits, it’s so easy to tuck in a few pumpkins, bats, skeletons or other Halloween decorations without having to redo the whole porch. Spray paint branches black. 🎃

Here are a few of my favorite fall plants: Celosia, Mums, Asters, Ornamental kale + cabbage, ornamental peppers, Ornamental grasses, pansies.

Start with the fall plants now, then add a little Halloween when October arrives. The easiest seasonal porch transition!

The US Open might be one of my favorite traditions. 🎾

We love jumping around to the different courts, checking out as many tennis matches, the players, the outfits 😆—and just taking in all the energy. Pulled in a few photos from last year with the kids too. Definitely one of my favorite ways to wrap up summer! 💙🎾
