Locals—Looking for a day trip to take in the beautiful fall foliage?
Mohonk Mountain House in New Paltz, NY, is one of the most beautiful places to visit in the Hudson Valley, especially this time of year! 🍂 🍁
Just about two hours from Fairfield County and NYC, this historic resort is surrounded by gorgeous hiking trails, breathtaking views, and some of the prettiest fall colors.
We purchased a hiking day pass to explore the property’s trails, but you can also book lunch reservations or make a weekend of it with an all-inclusive overnight stay.
One tip: Make your lunch reservations early! They were completely booked when we visited.
Definitely a fall bucket list destination worth visiting!
