POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

You may have heard, I moved to Barcelona in 2024. I really miss my community. So naturally, I’m starting a talk show.

After my move, I realized how many people in my queer, showbiz and arts communities had also packed up their lives and started again in other countries.

I wanted to hear their stories. And, really... I wanted to feel connected to my incredible chosen family.

So my one-woman show is growing into something we can share together: A Diplomat of the Outrageous: Talk Show!

Real conversations about being an immigrant, finding your people and making a life somewhere new, with some truly wonderful, OUTRAGEOUS humans.

Prepare yourselves for some upcoming fun and get your calendars out!

NOVEMBER 1: Our pilot episode comes out with @shaneisland from my community of shobiz queers and @poststyle

NOVEMBER 13: We’re LIVE in Barcelona as part of the @barcelonafringe2026 with @kimnicky and @hannahbeckercomedy

NOVEMBER 14: Another live Barcelona Fringe Festival show, with @kimnicky and @faucography_

Can’t join us in Barcelona? We’re also exploring a livestream so you can join from wherever you are. (More info coming soon!)

NOVEMBER 15: Our first official episode with the FABULOUS @daphne_always

There are so many more beautiful conversations coming, many of them moved me to tears of joy, profundity and laughter! I cannot wait to share these incredible stories with you.

Save these dates, loves.

You are invited to get outrageous with me and my fantastic friends! by @darlindajust

Did you know that in addition to being a BurlyQ Performance Artist I’m also an actor? I’m thrilled to announce that I have joined @arttmanagement / @artt_actors as my EU / UK representatives. I’m happy to report that they are keeping me busy!

From Midwest modesty to unapologetically owning his artistry.

My first guest on A Diplomat of the Outrageous is queer journalist, performer, self described radio goof and my longtime friend @shaneisland AKA Shane Shane!

We dive into finding your people, learning to celebrate your talents, and the unexpected kindness of New Yorkers.

I also asked some Hard Hitting Questions:

What do you do with that grief of a changing country? How does one simultaneously hold the beauty and ugliness your home country?

What makes you stay, and what might make you leave?

There’s queer nightlife, transformation, and a few “you can’t make this sht up” stories that only happen in NYC!

The pilot lands on your favorite podcast streaming platform, November 1st. Mark your calendars and come get outrageous with us! by @darlindajust

This trip was one for the books! My trip to Barcelona has been a Series of Unfortunate Events but the @bcnburlesquemeeting was a massive silver lining in my Clouds and I am so thankful to have been apart of this festival.

Getting to meet new people, connect with old friends I don't get to see often, experienceing new art and a new city helped refilled my love and joy of Burlesque. We often say it is not about the destination but it is about journey and this trip really helped expanded that idealogy in me. I may not have ended up where I wanted to be spiritually and emotionally this trip but the Conversations, the Artistic connection, the Joy and Community was where I NEEDED forward.

Thank you Barcelona Burlesque Festival for having me and continue to twirl your pasties foward! 💙 taken in Barcelona, Spain by @darlindajust
