A few things worth knowing:
- Direct flights from Toronto and a bunch of major US cities
- Maho Beach is famous for planes landing right over the sand, easy to spot from the air
🇫🇷 French side tends to be quieter and more low-key
🇳🇱 Dutch side has more resorts, shopping, and nightlife
- Only about 20-30 min between sides by car

Three days at @britishcolonialnassau with @yashyanthi @thecuriouscreature and the setup is ideal: private white sand beach, oceanfront pools, and you’re right in downtown Nassau.

The property is beautiful, there are plenty of dining options, and having the beach steps away made everything easy.

Bonus: they offer day passes through ResortPass, making it perfect for cruise passengers who want resort amenities during their port stop.

It’s been a few years since I was last in Marrakech and even longer since explored Jardin Majorelle and the Bahia Palace.

They’re the kind of places that make you stop, breathe, and remember why you came here in the first place—the blue that never fades, the courtyards that stay cool when everything else is baking, the details you miss until the third or fourth visit.

A few tips if you go:
Go early – mornings are calmer, cooler, and so much easier for photos.
Book Majorelle tickets ahead – trust me, the line isn’t worth your time.
Wear light layers – comfy shoes and a scarf make a world of difference.
Bring water – you’ll thank yourself later.
Don’t rush – the magic is in the slow moments.
Consider a guide – I’ve picked up stories here that completely changed the way I saw the spaces.

One of my goals for my recent trip around the sun was to share more candid, or at least less curated, moments of myself and my surroundings on the internet.

I can't say that I'm succeeding at it fully yet, but I am getting comfortable not holding onto my perfectionist tendencies, which are always in the back of my mind when it comes to photos.

That said, this Christmas on the Rhine trip with @vikingcruises was a true exercise in being in the moment and enjoying the joys of holidays as they come. It's hard to explain how not having to stress about travel, bookings, planning, etc., allows you to immerse yourself in a space fully, and Viking Cruises allows us to do just that.

Yes, @seeusoontravel and I took photos of each other, but the best shots were the candid ones or the quick snaps in the middle of a busy market before we went on our way to hunt down our next treat.

I have a ton more footage to share from this trip, but for now, dear friend, I think I'll save that for next year because we all need to be present with the loves of our lives.
