The other weekend marked the biggest night in Gospel Music with the 39th Annual Stellar Awards, and also the end of a chapter for me. For six years, I had the privilege of working with Entertainment One, which became MNRK Music Group, home to IndieBlu and the historic Light Records. During those six years, I was able to create and be a part of moments that I will cherish for the rest of my life. Last weekend reminded me why I love the work I do and the genre of gospel music. It also reminded me that this is merely a bend in the road, not the end of the journey.

To all the incredible artists, partners, managers, teams, vendors, and contractors, many of whom have become friends and like family, thank you for allowing me the chance to serve and serve with you. To my former coworkers, thank you for being a joy to work with. I must acknowledge this chapter by saluting and honoring @theeginamiller, who kept her promise and provided me a seat at the table. That will never be forgotten, and you will forever be a part of my story.

After a great weekend completely off the grid, I couldn’t let the night end without saying cheers to 5 years and a lifetime to go.

To my wife, my partner, my confidant, and my safe place… your heart, your love, and the way you consider me will always be my weakness. There’s something about being loved by you that still gets me every time.

I loved you then, I love you now, and I’ll love you beyond.

Sometimes we get so busy building that we forget to pause and celebrate what the work has produced.

So today, I’m pausing to celebrate the recent release “Over & Over” by the First Lady of Gospel, Pastor Shirley Caesar.

It was an incredible honor to A&R a body of work I truly believe the world will enjoy, with this single being the introduction to what’s ahead.

Pastor Caesar, working with you has been an experience I’ll cherish forever. Your gifting, professionalism, wisdom, and authenticity are second to none. And yes… you are a RIOT!

@theeginamiller, thank you for being the connector and making this possible. Your intentionality will bear fruit for years to come.

@dlo_the_great , thank you for trusting me and riding this mission out with me. Your ability to make both new and legendary stars shine brighter while protecting who they authentically are is special.

This is such a big deal. We're literally still sitting back reminiscing on Stellars Week in awe like did this really happen?! God really did His big one when He planted this seed in us, and this is only the beginning. Our Open Haus Artist Press Day was a success, AGAIN. We built this event so artists and media wouldn't have to fight for a seat at the table, and the event did just that all while cultivating a strong, safe community and network. We had TV, radio, podcasters, and online media outlets all in one HAUS. Happy Birthday to our lil baby, Open Haus! Your Mom and Dad @darnellenolin love watching you grow 🎈🎉

Thanks again to EVERY SINGLE PERSON who participated both artist and media, to our team, 🗣WE LOVE YOU, and our SPECTACULAR Haus Carpet host @mikeaaronj, whew grateful is an understatement 🙏🏾

It’s hard to put into words what this moment means.

Thank you to every person who pressed play, shared the song, added it to a playlist, sang it in your church, sent me a message, or simply believed in what God placed in my heart. Every stream represents a person, and every person represents a story. For that, I am deeply grateful.

“Power in the Blood” was never about chasing numbers—it was always about pointing people to the One whose blood still saves, heals, restores, and redeems.

If this song has strengthened your faith, reminded you of God’s goodness, or carried you through a difficult season, then this milestone is bigger than 100,000. It’s eternal.

This is not the destination. It’s simply another reminder that God will breathe on what is surrendered to Him.

Some people count streams. Heaven counts souls. Never confuse influence with impact.

My Monday hit a little different this week because my Sunday was exactly what I needed. Spending time with the guys… my family, my first best friends, and my lifelong brothers was refreshing in every sense of the word.

Big thanks to @_dseals for making the clarion call and opening his home for all of us. Love y’all, and I definitely missed everyone who couldn’t make it. Until next time.

I’m grateful for you not just on your special day, but every single day. Your heart for me, your belief in me, your vision for me, and the way you thoughtfully consider me are gifts I will never take for granted.
