POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

🎶 ONE YEAR AGO TODAY… “HE WATCHES ME” WAS RELEASED! 🙏🏾

One year later, I can honestly say I’m grateful for the journey, the lessons, and the doors God opened.

This song taught me a lot about the music industry — including the importance of being careful about who you connect with and understanding that radio promotion can be challenging and expensive. But through it all, God allowed me to experience some incredible moments:

🌍 Airplay in South Africa + an interview while there
🎤 Performing “He Watches Me” at Dorothy Norwood’s birthday concert
📻 Reaching the Top 100 of the Official Gospel Charts/Mediabase
🏆 Multiple Gospel Music Choice Awards nominations

To every station, DJ, interviewer, and media outlet that played my music or gave me a platform — THANK YOU! ❤️

I’m forever grateful for Evangelist Dorothy Norwood, our relationship, and the opportunity to share this record with her. And thank you Damion Murrell for your expertise and contribution.

If you haven't downloaded “He Watches Me”, go get it today! 🎶 Link is below

Today I celebrate 29 years — not just of life, but of survival, strength, and undeniable proof that God has been faithful to me.

People see the glory, but they don’t know the story.
I’ve worked hard — and I still work hard.
My shoes have never been easy to walk in, but I refused to let my circumstances stop me.

In Loving Memory of My Queen 👑

Four years ago today, one of the worst days of my life — I lost my Queen, my heart, my love… my grandmother, Lela Mae Connor. There’s not a day that goes by that I don’t think of her. She fought hard. She loved hard. She gave so much, even when some of her own gave so little. I learned so much from her — strength, grace, and unconditional love.

Today, instead of crying, I’m choosing to smile. Because I did a thing. On September 16th, I purchased my first home — and it wasn’t just any house. It was her house. The same home where so many of my “firsts” happened.

When I found out her kids sold it for pennies, it felt like losing her all over again. But I prayed about it. I told God if it was meant for me, it would be. The process wasn’t easy — my income was shaky, my debt was high, and so many times it didn’t look good… but God! 🙌🏽

Today, I can say: God did it.
And I know Lela Mae Connor is smiling down, proud of what her grandson has become.

Thank You, God.
Thank You, Grandma.
Love you forever, my Queen. 💜✨
