A pair of Red-winged Fairywrens. I love how they are sitting on this old fence post. A big bonus extra as part of a recent weekend away to the Margaret River area. Who doesn’t like to mix wine with bird photography. We stayed at a house next to LS Merchants (winery) and it was amazing for local birds!! One bird I was not expecting to see on my travels to the East Kimberley was the Purple Crowned Fairywren. With a few hours to kill before our flight home, we decided to follow up on a tip and so glad we did.
